Chapter 846 Skepticism.
An individual, seemingly a monk in his forties or fifties, ascended to the stage. He was dressed in robes, and his mere presence brought an extraordinary aura that filled the stage. It was an air of distinction that only a wise man could possess.
“Master Antoine has taken the stage!”
“Master Antoine is truly a divine monk. His aura is extraordinary.”
“Master Antoine, take me as your disciple!”
The crowd buzzed with excitement, and every word spoken was filled with admiration for Antoine Mills.
With a slight raise of his hand, he silenced the boisterous crowd. A deafening silence fell over the scene.
A smirk played at the corners of Alex’s lips. He was curious to see how impressive these so-called divine powers were and whether he was superior to himself, a Master Realm warrior.
Following Antoine’s entrance, a group of young, robust monks in their twenties joined him on the stage. Each one of them seemed physically stronger than Antoine, yet none possessed his aura.
Suddenly, the young monks attacked Antoine simultaneously. Antoine, though surrounded by them, did not display any sign of panic.
It might have gone unnoticed by ordinary people, but Alex noticed a faint layer of Mortal Force swirling around Antoine’s palms, which he then directed at the person closest to him.
Even though Antoine’s hand was a good two or three centimeters away, the attacker was repelled by an invisible force.
Observing this, Alex was convinced that this so-called divine monk was just a practitioner of Mortal Force, perhaps a mere martial artist at best.
If Alex were the one on the stage and used thirty percent of his Mortal Force, he could gravely injure all of the young monks.
Those who had mastered Mortal Force were naturally incomparable to ordinary individuals. Even a novice martial artist could easily deal with a dozen people.
In a short time, all the young monks on stage were knocked down by Antoine, some by his Mortal Force, others by punches and kicks.
The performance was far from theatrical. It felt real, so much so that even Maggie, who had been observing closely, could not detect any flaws.
Feeling curious, she turned to Alex. “You’re pretty skilled. Can you tell if their fight is real or fake? Can the master really knock someone down from a distance?”
Stanley, having watched the display, was thrilled and bouncing with excitement. “Daddy, they’re so powerful!”
Alex chuckled dryly, his mind drifting back to Stanley’s birthday feast when Uriah had left the crowd in awe with his demonstration of martial prowess.
A feat of such skill and finesse was akin to magic. Unfortunately, Maggie hadn’t been present to witness
this spectacle. She had arrived later that night at the Jeffersons villa, so she was completely oblivious to the extraordinary duel between Alex and Uriah.
