Chapter 892 Eaten
The corner of Magnus’ lips curled into a smirk when he saw that. “It’s useless to try to escape. I suggest you stand there and await your death. It’s your best option.”
Is this old geezer taking me for a fool? I can’t believe he thinks that I would listen to him and stand there to await my death.
Alex turned his head and spat in Magnus’ direction, “F*ck you! Do you honestly think I’m a fool? I can’t believe you even suggested that I stand there and await my death. Even if I die today, I’m bringing you with me.”
Alex cursed as he fled for his life, and even Jared and Magnus, who were after him in the Bentley, looked at him as if he were a clown.
It was the first time Alex felt so frustrated with his opponent. I can’t fight or harm them, so I can only flee. My energy will run out eventually, and those bugs are swift. It won’t take long before they catch up to me. When that happens, I will suffer the same fate as Stannis. I know that I can’t keep running forever, but what else can I do? If I don’t do so, I can only await my death.
“Old b*stard, fight me fair and square like a man. Even if I die at your hands today, I won’t have a single complaint. I can’t accept your lowly tricks,” Alex shouted at Magnus.
If I truly am bitten to death by bugs today, I’ll die with indignation.
Instead of granting Alex’s request, Magnus ignored his words and released even more red-headed bugs to pursue the former.
This time, Alex truly had nowhere to turn for help. He might be a Master fighter, but there was no way he could outrun a Bentley.
Just as he slowed down, the little red bugs flew toward him. Since he had burned his clothes, his upper body was exposed.
The bugs soon bit his skin and made their way into his flesh. Alex felt the pain on his back and reached. out to scratch the spot, but the bugs had already burrowed into his flesh.
As the pain in his back grew intense, the image of him being devoured to the bone even appeared in his mind. He took a sharp breath and continued running desperately, having no time to care about the pain.
If he slowed down, more red bugs would pierce his skin and eat at his flesh, which would only hasten his death.
“Young man, my insects will not only devour your flesh, but they will also reproduce rapidly once inside. If you don’t amputate your limbs, your body will be infested with bugs later,” Magnus warned.
His words struck Alex like a bolt from the blue. It did occur to Alex that he might die that day, but he never thought he would die so disgustingly.
“I truly despise you, old b’stard!” Alex could only vent his frustration at Magnus.
The latter still ignored him. He muttered something under his breath, and the green-headed fly instantly sped up, aiming for Alex’s neck.
Alex just so happened to look back at that moment and saw the green-headed fly rushing toward him. He quickly lowered his head to dodge the fly’s attack before sprinting the other way.
