Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 27

#Nell’s straightforward answer made Gideon surprised, but he immediately lifted the corner of his lips.

“But I have conditions.”

“Say it!”

“First, we’re not allowed to disclose our relationship to the public before I give consent. Second, no touching me without my permission!”

The smile in Gideon’s eyes cooled a little. “Is there a third?”

Nell thought for a moment but did not think of anything else, and shook her head. “No.”

After a pause, she added. “I’ll think about it later.”

Gideon said in a low voice. “So you want me to be a monk?”

Nell was startled.

“Mrs. Leith, I’m also a man. If you never allow it, won’t I have to abstain for the rest of my life?”

His body approached her as he spoke, and Nell could only try her best to shrink away.

“T-That’s not what I meant…”

The reason why she put forward these conditions was because she subconsciously thought that this marriage would not last.

So much so that she did not even consider what would happen in the future.

Gideon scoffed as if he had seen through her thoughts.

“Nell Jennings, remember this. I, Gideon Leith, will never get divorced after marrying. Since you’ve agreed, there is no longer a chance for you to retreat or go back on your word. Be a good Mrs. Leith and I’ll give you everything you could ever want, understand?”

Nell looked at him and said nothing.

The grip on her chin suddenly tightened. She cried out in pain and could only begrudgingly agree. “Understood.”

Gideon let go in satisfaction.

Only after letting go did he realize that two small red marks were pinched on her delicate white skin.

His deep eyes darkened slightly.

In the end, he admitted that he had been too aggressive earlier and grew worried that he had scared her.

Thus, he added. “Alright. I won’t touch you for now, but I hope that you can adapt to your identity as soon as possible. Don’t make me wait too long, okay?”

Nell flushed red at the meaning of his words and she nodded.

Gideon turned and walked away. Soon after, he reentered with a fresh set of women’s clothing.

He passed the clothes to Nell. “Come out after changing!”

Nell hummed in acknowledgment.

After the bathroom door closed, Nell took off her wet dress and put on the new clothes Gideon brought in.

The clothes must have been prepared by Matthew while they were in the bathroom.

The plainly-colored simple and casual clothes reduced some of her cold aura. What followed was a strong and pure temperament.

Nell looked at herself in the mirror and paused.

She was not very old now. She was only twenty-four. It was the age of an ordinary person two years after graduating from college.

Perhaps it was because she had experienced too much in these five years. Her heart had experienced all sorts of hardships and she usually stayed in a workplace filled with people in their thirties and forties, which led her to become wiser and more solemn.

Unconsciously, she had forgotten that she was still very young.

This was the most beautiful age for a girl.

At this age, she was youthful, unrestrained, and had enough wealth to live flamboyantly. She also had beauty worthy of being proud of.

When she recalled Gideon’s words earlier, her eyes lowered.

A long time later, she suddenly smiled.

After changing clothes and going out, she found that there was no one in the bedroom.

There were voices in the living room, so she went out to check. There, besides Gideon and Matthew, she also saw the Jennings family and Jason Morton.

Sylvia sat on the armchair, and behind her stood Shaun and Sally.
