Scarletts P.O.V
Next day, during your lunch period at school, Briana and you sit eating and discussing the events of the night before.
"Wait a second... he was what"
"I woke up to the sound of porn, so obviously he was jerking off."
I'm not gonna admit the fact that i enjoyed watching
"Holy shit. That crazy"
You narrow your eyes at your friend when she stares blankly like she's imagining it.
"Damn, Bri. He's not that not"
"Speak for yourself. I think he's gorgeous"
Your groan and roll your eyes, taking another bite of your pizza. Chewing thoughtfully, you sigh.
"Hey, I'm all for pleasure relief, but like, don't be waking people up. If its that loud it too loud, ya know?"
Briana waves her hand dismissively, before taking a swig of he Gatorade.
"Guys have no shame. Absolutely no damn shame."
"Its awful. I don't understand how I'm going to make it living with him. I just cant stand his arrogant ass. You know, i really get the impression he thinks women just kiss the fucking ground he walks on. Not me. He's sorely mistaken."
Briana chuckles. You shoot her daggers with your eyes.
"Not funny Bri. You've met him. You cant deny what I'm saying"
She shrugs.
"Maybe you guts just need time to hangout. Get to know each other. Some common ground"
Unlikely. With what happened last nigh, spending more time together is the wrong direction to go in.
"Why don't you invite him to Jenny's party this weekend?"
"Oh no. No, no, no!"
You shake your head.
The last thing i need is for him to be around me while I'm drunk and my inhibitions are lowered. Besides, he doesn't need to be apart if my social life. Not fucking happening.
"Come on, scar!it might be fun."
You raise a questioning brow at Briana.
"You know, it seems like yous have a lot of fun with it. I, on the other hand, will be in hell. He's been nothing but a douche bag since the moment i met him. And guess who's forced to continuously see him this week, and for the rest of my fucking life I'm sure."
"You're so fucking over dramatic"
Your phone vibrates. You pull it out and set it next to your lunch tray. Your eyes scan the screen and your furrow them frustratedly.
You have to be fucking kidding me... How the hell did he get my number?
A mile long list kid swear words rolled through your mind as you read the text from Oliver.
Oliver: I'm picking you up from school. Don't get too excited.
Scarlett: how the hell did you get my number?
You huff angrily, ignoring the confused expression of Bri. You wave her questions away as your phone vibrates again.
Oliver: does it matter?
Scarlett: and FYI, no ones excited. Believe me...
Oliver: I doubt that. You seamed pretty excited last night.

Loved the storyline. I could actually feel the tension between them. Had a hard time stopping reading so I could go to sleep. 😊...
