Stop It, She’s Remarrying (Fia and Conrad) novel Chapter 1103

Chapter 1103

She kept wanting to ask Lucifer how Sophia was.

Was she still alive or was she dead?

However, she did not dare to ask.

Since the day she decided to shut the screen, close her eyes, not listen nor look, she had already given up.

She had given up on Sophia, so why was there a need to ask? How hypocritical!

“I’m going to bed.” Fia got up, patted the gravel behind her and left.

Lucifer sat where he originally was without moving. A few minutes later, another figure walked over.

“What did you get Madam to do?”

Lucifer raised his head to look at Sophia, his eyes full of mockery.

“She doesn’t even see you as a friend. Are you still willing to follow after her?”

Sophia was expressionless. “It was us who had let her down and did not protect her well.”

“Haha, how interesting.” Lucifer used his index finger to scratch the back of his ear. “Do you know why I’m allowing her to bring the two children out on this mission?”

Sophia was silent.

She was worried, but did not dare to reveal the least bit of emotion.

“This time, the mission is related to Conrad.” Lucifer laughed softly.

At the auction.

The entire place was bustling. People were making noise as they made their bids.

Somewhere in the front, there was a cold, handsome man with a high nose bridge and deep, dark amber eyes deep and dark. He pursed his thin lips.

Silas bent sideways and asked, “Mr. Maxwell, what do you think about this Jade Goddess?”

“Bid for it and give it to Mrs. Parker,” Conrad said coldly.

Silas agreed, raised the bid price, and yelled out a ridiculously high price that people were unable to accept.

After the Jade Goddess was sold, Silas got an assistant to get the goods and he pushed Conrad

away.

Along the way, everyone automatically made way, fearful of blocking his path.

Along the way, Conrad was expressionless, like an icy sculpture.

Silas pushed him out of the hotel and the chauffeur immediately came over, bringing a cane, and said carefully, “Mr. Maxwell.”

Conrad held the cane to get up slowly. His left foot could move like usual, but his right foot depended on the cane to move, with great difficulty.

Silas and the chauffeur both stayed by his side, fearful that he would fall.

After getting into the car, Conrad threw the cane to where his feet were.

Silas sat beside him in the back seat, telling him about the day’s schedule.

The chauffeur was in charge of driving.

Along the way, Conrad had a cold expression and was silent, only listening to Silas reporting his schedule.

After quite a few minutes, he suddenly spoke. “Silas, cancel all of tomorrow’s meetings.”

“What?” Silas was a little stunned. “I have already notified everyone that tomorrow’s meeting

“Tomorrow is Felicity’s mother’s birthday,” Conrad said faintly.
