However, no matter how much Conrad focused, he couldn’t think of a reason why he would feel such pain.
Who was that woman?
When Conrad got back upstairs, his face was still quite pale.
Silas followed next to Conrad, worried.
“Sir, are you alright?”
He asked worryingly.
Then, he saw how pale Conrad’s face was.
His forehead was covered in a layer of sweat.
His lips had lost color.
Silas suddenly remembered what Fia told him just now.
“Your boss is poisoned.”
And…
Wasn’t this a symptom of him being poisoned?
“Sir, give me a second. I’ll find a doctor right now!”
Silas said as he left in a rush.
After Silas left, Conrad suddenly opened his eyes.
His eyes were red like blood, and they were quite horrifying.
He stood back up and continued onward despite all the stumbling.
He didn’t know how, but he ended up downstairs again.
He squatted in front of the door, not moving.
Fia had a very bad feeling in her heart.
She then remembered Conrad.
Since Silas had brought him back, with the ability of those from the Maxwell family, the poison shouldn’t be able to harm him.
Not to mention that they had already become enemies.
Fia forced herself to suppress the pain in her heart.
No matter what happened, all of this had nothing to do with her.

The readers' comments on the novel: Stop It, She’s Remarrying (Fia and Conrad)
I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
