Chapter 705 Important Decision
The atmosphere in the Maybach was stifling, and August's face was gloomy. He drove so fast that Lucia was pushed to
the door several times by inertia.
She clutched the seat belt and said, "There is something I want to discuss with you."
"Don't bring it up if it's about Ethan," he responded coldly.
Lucia took a deep breath, made up her mind, and slowly said, "I want to take Timothy and Janet to Griffith."
The car stopped with a screech. August's deep eyes fell on her. It gave her a lot of pressure. She swallowed and lowered
her voice..
"Can you guarantee their safety if we keep them around us?"
"Yes." August stared at her unblinkingly.
"But I can't take the risk." she said firmly. "You know how great the grudge between Ethan and you is. Given the
previous experience, we have to stay alert."
August pinched her jaw and tightened his grip. The pain made her clench her teeth.
"Do you know what this decision means?" he questioned her, stressing his tone.
"You're going back to the organization." She endured the pain and looked into his unfathomable eyes, "It's the only way
we can get rid of him for good."
It distressed him to see her tough look. In the end, he slowly loosened his grip. "That's Flynt's mission and not my
concern."
Seeing a chance to change his mind, she put her hands on the back of his hand and asked seriously, "Are you really going
to let Ethan off the hook?"
His eyes slightly narrowed. That was not important. Lucia and the two children were what really mattered to him. He had
lost her for five years, and his life had been like hell. Now that she finally came back to him, he would certainly not risk
his life and their future. Lucia knew his thoughts and dreams all these years. She just couldn't selfishly drag him down. He knew how dangerous the mission was but still followed Flynt to the path. He cared about the nation and the world. He
shouldn't be held back by the ties with his family. She had been shocked by the scenes in the basement of the Grittith
Organization. Those who had been on the wrong path were suffering. The youngest one among them was just a little
older than Timothy and Janet. August would never forgive those evildoers, nor would she.
"This matter concerns the safety of the children and me. I have to take them there," she whispered in his ear, and the
look in his eyes slightly changed.
She noticed it and gave a hearty smile. "You can decide for yourself whether to work with Flynt or not, but I don't want
to become your burden. You should trust me as much as I trust you."
August stroked her hair and called Joshua, "Tell Flynt that I will go over to discuss countermeasures with him
tomorrow."
In a dim basement, the once vigorous Ethan was listlessly sitting in the chair. His men had been exterminated. Not even
one was left. It couldn't be his accomplice who got him out. For a moment, he had no idea if the other party was friendly
or hostile. The door opened with a creak. A man appeared in the dim light. Following the heavy approaching footsteps,
the face of the man came into view. The conspicuous scar on his forehead looked hideous in such an environment. "How come you're reduced to this?" Mark's indifferent voice rang out.
Ethan's eyes narrowed and glinted with a dangerous light. "I wonder who you're working for."
Mark sat down across from Ethan in a chair and slowly lit a cigarette. Amid the smoke, his voice was hoarse. "Your
stately air remains. It shows I didn't find the wrong person."
Ethan immediately realized that the man was on the same side as him. He straightened up and asked, "What kind of deal

"Killing people!" Mark snapped the cigarette and gnashed his teeth, his eyes thick with hatred, "I need August and his
tamily to die."
August and Lucia were their common enemies. His fierce look satisfied Ethan who nodded. "You've got a deal. I'm just
curious about your motives."
Mark dropped his eyes before Jeanne's pale, pretty face resurfaced in his mind. When Jeanne was taken into custody six
