"What?" He frowned, and asked in a cold voice, "Do you mean Daryl? The recent public opinion is caused by her, right?" When Lucia heard his words, a burst of anger arose in her heart. She stepped forward to grab him by his tie, and shouted

sharply, "Daryl treats you wholeheartedly, and you actually suspect her!"

Not expecting her to be angry suddenly, Paul thought about the reason in his heart, and then he softened the expression.

on his face, "You're angry with me because of Daryl? You're jealous, aren't you?"

Snapped--

Not withstanding it anymore, Lucia suddenly raised her hand and slapped him on the face, causing obvious slap marks

on Paul's face.

"You are not good enough for Daryl! I just feel everything Daryl did before is meaningless."

Feeling his face turning numb, Paul showed a bit of bitterness in his expression, "Lucia, do we have to end in such a way?

You clearly know how I feel about you in my heart..."

"Heart?" She sneered, her eyes filled with sarcasm, "Your heart is as worthless as a wholesale heart-shaped stone in the

market. What does Daryl mean to you? And what about Zoey?!"

"Zoey." Paul's expression froze, and his voice involuntarily cooled down, "How did you know her?"

"Why can't I know her!" She roared sharply, "She hurt your own sister and killed your unborn nephew!"

As she spoke, she stretched out her hand and pushed hard on his shoulder.

Hearing her words, Paul's took two steps in a daze backwards, his mind suddenly going blank. He froze there, and asked

in a daze, "What do you mean by that?"

"Go ask Zoey, I want to see which matters more to you, your sister or your real money." With a pair of cold eyes, she

approached him step by step, "No matter what your decision is, I will not let her go."

It took a long time for Paul to calm himself down and regained his thoughts.

Looking at her leaving from behind, he suddenly felt a sense of powerlessness in his heart, and whispered in a low voice,

"I have always kept the house in West Bridge for you, and maintained the furnishings in the original place as before. If

you're really divorced, you can move in anytime you want."

Upon hearing that, Lucia paused and then turned around to look at him indifferently, saying with an obviously alienated

and cold tone, "I have a good relationship with August. Don't worry about it. Just mind on your own business." After she finished speaking, she turned and left, but the suppressed feeling in her chest could not go away for a long

time.

The noisy mobile phone rang again, she frowned at the name on the screen, took a deep breath, and adjusted her

emotions before answering the phone.

On the other end of the phone was Timothy and Janet's current class teacher. She didn't tell Lucia what happened.

Instead, she urged her to go to school quickly in an anxious tone.

After Lucia came to the teacher's office, she only saw Timothy and Janet were surrounded by several angry parents who

kept pointing at the two children.

Timothy carefully protected his sister while covering her ears with his little hands. Janet still had tears on her face. The

two children were dirty, with dust on their faces and bodies, looking a little embarrassed.

Lucia stepped forward to separate the parents, and hugged the two children tightly in her arms. Janet immediately threw

herself into her arms and burst into tears.

"Little girl, why are you crying? You've known how to play pity at such a young age, which is so disgusting!" A woman's

sour voice sounded. And she kept poking Janet's head with her fingernails as she spoke.

Lucia froze her eyes, and quickly grabbed the woman's fingers with sharp eyes. The woman immediately yelled and even raised her hand to hit someone. But before she could slap her, Lucia threw her aside with a cold face.

The woman rubbed her index finger with a painful expression, and gave her a somewhat apprehensive look. And then she

turned her gaze to the teacher on the seat, "Look, what kind of good children can such a woman teach!"

Lucia comforted Janet in a soft voice before she fell her eyes fell on the woman, "No one can hurt my child before I know

the truth about the matter. If she really did something wrong, I will educate her."

"You, a divorced woman, know how to educate children?" The woman squinted at her, and said in a strange way, "I don't

even know who this child is. Maybe both the parents are not good."

Lucia's eyes turned cold instantly, and she picked up the glass on the table and looked directly at the woman, "If you say

such obscenities in school again, I will wash your mouth clean every time I see you."

With chilling voice and eyes, Lucia caused fear to the woman, who wanted to say something regardless. The woman was

so scared that she couldn't help taking two steps back when she saw Lucia's eyes.

"Miss Wong, what's going on?" She put down her glass and asked in a cold voice.

Before the teacher could say something, a luxuriously dressed woman spoke first and pointed in Janet's direction while

shouting sharply, "Look, what a good daughter raised by the rich family. She beat my son to such an extent!"

Lucia turned her eyes to the child in the woman's arms, a little boy who was as young as Timothy and Janet, and stared

at Janet fiercely with his dark eyes.

There were bloodstains on his gray face, which looked dirty. There were two rows of clear small teeth marks on his bare

arms, and traces of blood seeped from the teeth marks.

"Janet." Lucia's voice turned cold instantly, and she looked at her with burning eyes and asked, "Tell me, did you cause

the wound on your classmate?"

Janet nodded with redden eyes, and the expression in her eyes was more of grievance and stubbornness.

Seeing this, the mother of the child next to her immediately yelled, "Since your daughter has admitted it, what else do

you want to say? Hurry up to compensate us and apologize to us!"

Lucia ignored the woman who was making noise, and kept her eyes on her daughter, "Then why did you hurt your classmate, Janet?"

Hearing her soft voice, Janet almost wanted to cry, and responded with aggrieved words, "Mom, Kade said that I am a child without a father. I obviously have a father, and my father loves me and my brother very much." The more Janet said, the more she felt aggrieved. Her little face buried in her arms, she kept sobbing.

Upon hearing what Janet said, the boy named Kade immediately got out of his mother's arms, pointed at Janet and shouted, "You are a liar! You've deserted by your father and no one wants both of you. You will end being a beggar!" Upon hearing the boy's words, Jane cried in a louder voice and Timothy tightened his little fists immediately. He rushed towards Kade. Seeing that the two children were about to fight again, Kad 's mother immediately pushed Timothy away. "Lucia Mitchell, did you see? It's your son who beat others first. If you don't give me an explanation for this matter, matter won't be ended in such an easy way!"

Seeing her tough attitude, several parents nearby agreed together, "Our children were also injured, so please give us an explanation."
