Chapter 966 Can You Stop Calling Me Mr. Thomas?
Daryl looked at him indifferently at the door.
Paul's eyes flashed with disbelief. And then, he got ecstatic, strode up to her, and then grabbed her arm.
"Daryl, you're finally willing to see me.“
Daryl took a step back, lightly pushed his hand away, and said coldly, "Mr. Thomas, you're a married man. Please show some respect."
Paul froze in situ. He had been pleasantly surprised by her sudden visit. But seeing her cold face, he instantly calmed down.
After a while, Paul's eyes gradually turned red when he said, "Daryl, I..."
He wanted to tell her that he missed her, but she interrupted before he could finish his words.
"I'm not here to talk about old times."
Paul wanted to say something more, but Lucia suddenly said, "Paul, can we sit down to have a talk?"
Then, the two ladies walked into his office and sat on the sofa.
Paul made the coffee in person and put it on the table.
Daryl didn't have coffee but cut straight to the point, saying, "Paul, I want to know what happened to Paula when she was in the Thomas family mansion."
Paul frowned, shook his head, and said, "I don't know what happened to her."
Lucia got so angry that she clenched her fists and said, "She is your sister! She got harmed in the Thomas family mansion, but you don't know what happened?"
When Paul heard the accusation, his eyes flashed with self-blame. Then, he replied, "I thought she would be safe in the Thomas family mansion."
Paula had had an accident when he had been busiest. And he had not known about the onset of her disease until returning home.
Lucia suddenly felt puzzled.
She had not expected that even Paul did not know what had happened.
"However," Paul paused and then continued with a cold light in his eyes, "This matter must have something to do with Zoey."
Hearing this, Lucia looked up at him.
When Paul mentioned Zoey, his eyes flashed with a cold killing intent instead
something. What did you do to Paula?"
Since the onset of Paula's disease, they had not figured out what had happened to her. But they guessed it had something to do with Zoey.
However, it was just a guess because they did not have any evidence to prove Zoey had harmed her.
