Chapter 294
“What’s the relationship now?”
Genevieve suspected that Anthony was deliberately making trouble for her!
Therefore, she ran outside without hesitation and wanted to go back immediately.
But Anthony insisted on taking her back for breakfast.
He repeatedly claimed it was for her health, spouting nonsense about the unhealthy effects of irregular eating habits or something!
The moment she saw him, her body couldn’t recover!
The two of them shuffled to the door.
Then Genevieve heard Robbin’s voice.
Seeing Robbin, Genevieve naturally thought of what happened last night.
She felt a little embarrassed as an outsider.
Whether Robbin deliberately set a trap or not, it doesn’t affect Genevieve to stay away from Anthony.
So she also waved at Robbin.
Due to the momentary carelessness of the person at the door, Robbin slipped in.
“Genevieve, why are you sleeping here?” She asked directly.
Genevieve looked a little uncomfortable. It was already prone to misunderstanding; if she explained, it would only make things worse by drawing unnecessary attention.
Anthony said impatiently, “Bodyguard, why did you let her in!”
Just as the bodyguard was about to drive Robbin out, she grabbed Genevieve’s wrist, “Help me. I only need ten
minutes.”

Chapter 294
Genevieve pursed her lips, recalling Robbin’s warning to be cautious of Carrie.
Together with her pathetic background, Genevieve could not refuse the request.
She looked at Anthony and said, “Ten minutes. I’ll have breakfast with her.”
Anthony was seething with anger, “Don’t you know what she did last night?”
Genevieve gripped her fingers tightly, “Didn’t you suffer a loss?”
Anthony gritted his teeth and tightened his jaw.
He thought, “Forget it. Be friendly, and don’t scold her!‘
Robbin followed Anthony and Genevieve in.
After what happened last night, Robbin’s face showed no signs of guilt or regret.
She just put things in, and they filled the living room.
Anthony didn’t even look at them as if he was ready to have them thrown out at any moment to keep his turf
clean.
He sat at the dinner table and watched Genevieve eat, insisting she finish her main course.
Robbin stood and said calmly, “What happened yesterday was my fault. Mr. Hoffman was innocent. I admit it, and I apologize!‘
Although her apology was insincere.
Anthony snorted flatly.
Robbin took a deep breath and said, “My mother asked me to do this.”
Anthony’s face darkened slightly and he glanced at her indifferently.
He didn’t say anything, waiting for her to continue.
Genevieve had no appetite. She ate slowly.

Robbin seemed to be a stranger, disturbing their world.
Looking at the scene, she was a little uneasy.
Genevieve didn’t have to do anything; she sat there and got everyone’s attention.
It was unfair in this world!
“Genevieve is aware that I grew up under constant pressure from my mother. She commanded me to do it, and i couldn’t afford to displease her. She intends to use me as a bridge to contact you, with the ultimate goal of dealing with Lucas and seizing control of the Simpson family,” Robbin explained.
Anthony glanced at Austin indifferently and lowered his eyes, “You’ve made it sound plausible and reasonable, please continue.”
It was not the first time that Anthony had seen such a logical trick. He said, ‘Are you angling for someone else to do the dirty work, or are you just trying to pass the buck?”
Robbin froze slightly. She bit her lower lip and said, “I’m telling the truth.”
“Ms. Simpson, does your mother know you betrayed her so swiftly?” Anthony’s words left Robbin feeling uneasy.
Her lips turned slightly pale, and she trembled as she spoke, “Betrayal? I’m merely seeking an escape route for myself. Is that a betrayal of the past? She blamed me for all her wrongs because she offended you. I had no choice but to come here. Do you doubt my intentions so much? Ask Genevieve about what my mother did to her. What kind of person is my mother, really?”
Suddenly called, Genevieve hesitated briefly. She pondered, ‘I dislike Carrie, but how to articulate it? Is this merely a conflict of interests that should be magnified into a moral issue? Moreover, Carrie hasn’t posed any real threat to me.‘ She felt slightly uneasy with Robbin’s remarks as if pressed to do something uncomfortable. She
mulled it over carefully in her mind.
Before she could refuse, Anthony’s voice sounded indifferent, “Genevieve just met Carrie a few times. Don’t try
to get her involved!”
Robbin looked up at him with a stiff face.
His partiality was too apparent.

Genevieve continued to eat, only slightly relieved.
She felt like she had escaped a close call.
Robbin was furious and said Indifferently, “I came to apologize and told the truth. If you want revenge, I’ll help you. Just think of it as what I owe you.”
Anthony looked at Genevieve indifferently.
He completely ignored what Robbin said.
Robbin felt so overlooked that she couldn’t take it anymore.
She waited for a few minutes.
Anthony still didn’t respond, and she walked out with a gloomy face.
When she was about to walk out of the door, Anthony suddenly said, “Good idea.”
Robbin stopped and looked back at him.
