When the sun filtered through the window, Hannah turned around only to see Shawn’s face staring at her, a smile danced on her lips, and she ran her index finger on his soft lips.
“ You are so handsome”
She knew she had to get out of bed, and out of his room before someone realised she had slept over in his room, with everything that was happening she just did not want to have more trouble and for Shawn and his parents to keep having altercations between each other. pressing a soft kiss on his lips, she got that from bed and left the room only to bump into Mrs. Williams at the doorstep. She wanted to turn her face and move the other way, but then it was already too late, and she had got on to her, there was nothing she could do other than look at her, she studied the lines on her face trying to figure out what she was thinking but then, Hannah could not just see right through her.
she hasn't talked to Mrs. Williams ever since she got to this crimson Pack.
“ I'm guessing you spent the night there”
“Yes I did”
Hannah did not want to go ahead and continue lying when she knew the truth, it was staring right at her and if she lies, Mrs. Williams was going to try to make her tell the truth somehow, and that would give her more reason to hate her more than she already does, She will continue to reject her as the Luna of the Crimson Pack.
“ I thought you were more reserved”
“ I am all reserved, excuse me I have to go for a morning jog” Hannah walked away. She knows that if she continues to talk with her, she might end up saying some things that she will eventually regret. She doesn't know her so much, but in the little time she has spent with her, she has come to realize that she is annoying, and her use of words can be very mean which is why Shawn doesn't hesitate to talk back whenever she tries to demean her in front of him. Getting into her room, she put on her jogging clothes and dashed out into the street. back in Garden City Shawn does not have the time to go jogging even though she dreamed to go in on it with Shawn a couple of times, then, due to her busy schedule she could not, and even on weekends, she had to work in the office just so she could earn more salary than the rest of her colleague, and the other time she was not working she was resting up in the house.
As she dashed into the streets she could see the rest of the people jogging as well, while some were heading into the woods. She knew she could no longer go into the woods to avoid the enemy that was lurking around trying to find her in a quiet place to hurt her. She did not want to make Shawn scared and have him running off to her, and above all, she did not inform him that she wanted to go for a jog otherwise he would not have slept for long. Shawn might even get mad at her for leaving the house without telling him, especially with the other thing that happened in the woods.
When she was jogging, she noticed the intense gaze that was on her, it was as if someone was following her again, but yet when she turned around she wouldn't see the person, she left off the street heading to the main road with the rest of the joggers, even with the little that she knows about Shawn’s Pack, she could tell that people living in his pack loved each other.
she knew that with how they waved at each other as they jogged passed.
