Suddenly There Are Three (Bailey and Artemis) novel Chapter 1056

Chapter 1056 You Will Never Know The Truth

Initially, she had intended to get rid of the fetus in Rainie's belly so that there would be no evidence left.

However, she was also worried that Sylvester would continue to pester Rainie after her miscarriage.

On the other hand, things would be different if Rainie were pregnant. After all, everyone in the Hollett family believed that Mason was the father of her baby.

As long as the misunderstanding remained unresolved, Sylvester would not dare to lay his hands on his cousin's woman and child and incur everyone's wrath.

With Mason keeping Rainie occupied, Karina would have more opportunities to approach Sylvester and cultivate their relationship.

Even if she had to resort to devious schemes or underhand methods, she was determined to do whatever it took to become Sylvester's woman.

With that thought, she reached for the brooch pinned at her collar and jabbed it into the pad of her index finger.

The next moment, bright red blood started trickling down. Karina quickly lifted the covers, allowing her blood to stain the sheets, creating the illusion that she had been taken advantage of.

Next, she intentionally created bruises on her body to make it seem more convincing.

Although she deeply desired to be in a loving relationship with Sylvester, he would rather sleep than touch her.

He simply refused to touch her.

Even if she had millions of tricks up her sleeve, it would still be in vain.

Given the circumstances, she had no choice but to use her own methods to tie him down and get what she wanted.

After tidying up, she pulled out her phone and dialed Mason's number.

Once the call was connected, she spoke first without waiting for the other party to answer. “Bring Rainie to Lunar Bar at seven o'clock tomorrow morning. When you reach, my bodyguard will explain everything to you. All you need to do is follow his instructions. Remember, you have to bring Rainie over, and don't arouse her suspicions, understand?”

Mason's sinister laughter sounded at the other end of the line before he replied, “What trouble have you gotten into? I bet you need me to clean up your mess, right? Considering the fact that you sent Sylvester's woman to my bed a month back, I don't mind helping you this time.”

Karina sternly warned, “You'd better watch your words and think before you speak. When did I ever send Sylvester's woman to your bed?”

“Absolutely, it wasn't you who brought her here. She climbed into my bed on her own accord. All right, don't worry. Since we're partners, and we both stand to benefit from our cooperation, I will definitely do as you asked.”

After some thought, Karina lowered her voice and said, “Mason, if you want to continue living gloriously in the Hollett family, we must not tell anyone about that incident that happened over a month ago. If I get into trouble because of that, you won't have it easy either.”

Mason smiled and replied, “Don't worry, it will be kept between us. All right, I'm going off to spend time with my beauty. Good night.”

The man hung up immediately after saying that.

Karina fell into a daze as she listened to the dial tone coming from the receiver.

Fortunately, Mason had mistakenly believed that he had gotten his wish and slept with Rainie, the Oscar-winning actress. That was why he had been so subservient to her all that while.

Otherwise, things might get tricky later on.

After tossing her phone aside, the woman's gaze landed on Sylvester's handsome face.

It was the face that she had admired and pursued for many years; she simply could not get enough of the man.

“Sylvester, everything I've done is to win you over because I love you so much. Will you hate me when you know the truth? No, you will never find out the truth. Everything will be buried with the passage of time, leaving no traces to be found.”

After saying that, Karina undressed herself and Sylvester before reaching out to turn off the lights.
