Suddenly There Are Three (Bailey and Artemis) novel Chapter 362

Chapter 362

Bailey could not help but sneer.

What did he just say? It's shameless of him to ask me to hand Shannon over. I would've killed him if it were not for Artemis. Did he even flinch one bit when he asked those people to cut off Shannon's arm? Did his conscience ever condemn him when he staged that accident that killed Eugene? He never once cherished the woman who offered him her heart.

“You said you wanted Shannon. Sure. Over my dead body,” Bailey challenged.

To her, there was no point in keeping up the act anymore since the secret was already out.

Micah glared at Bailey as he enunciated, “Do you think I won't kill you? I can compromise on anything for you, but not Shannon. You have to hand her over today.”

“Haha!” Bailey laughed out loud, but gradually, tears started rolling down her cheeks.

She was crying for Shannon.

Shannon had always been an endearing person to Bailey. Not a single soul would remain unmoved by her story and how she survived all her hardships.

“Micah Neyman, you have no right to ask for her. I'll let everyone and anyone see her except for you. If you have a problem with that, fight me.”

“Do you think I won't do it?”

Micah glanced at Bailey coldly as he waved his arm, silently signaling his men to make a move.

At his command, groups of men in black emerged from the trailer behind him.

That was just as expected from Tarragon's leader. Micah could easily mobilize hundreds and thousands of bodyguards with just a simple order, and Bailey was no match for him, but that did not mean she would back down.

She had made up her mind that she would not hand Shannon over to Micah, even if bloodshed was about to occur.

“It seems like you're bent on destroying me, Mr. Neyman. I might not survive today, but I'll never betray a friend.”

Subsequently, Bailey took a gun from her subordinate and aimed it in Micah's direction. “Who's getting the first shot?”

She barely finished her sentence when a screeching sound of brakes pierced through the air from afar.

Then, an off-road vehicle sped over and stopped between the opposing groups.

The door to the driver's seat opened, and Bailey frowned at the familiar figure that alighted from the vehicle.

It was Artemis.

Why is he here? Didn't I tell him to stay away from Springwyn?

“Why are you here?” she questioned.

Artemis ignored her, strode over, and snatched the gun from Bailey before pinching her cheek hard.

“Ouch...” Bailey whined, glaring at him. There was affection and reproach in her tone.

Before she could do anything, her forehead hit Artemis' chest.

Seriously? Why is he so violent? Can't he be a little gentler?

“You're hurting me.”

“Serves you right.” Artemis darted a reproving glance at her and leaned over to whisper into her ear, “I'll teach you a good lesson after we get back. I'll make sure you can't walk for the entire week.”

This scoundrel! Can he not talk about sex all the time?

Pulling Bailey into his embrace, Artemis raised a brow at his friend, wearing a half-smile on his face. “I can't believe you messed with my woman while I was away, Micah. Do you have a death wish?”

There was no way Artemis and Micah could remain friends at this rate.

Micah squinted his eyes and reiterated, “I want Shannon. Give her to me, or no one is leaving alive today.”

Artemis' brows arched at the threat before he lowered his head to look at Bailey. “Is Shannon with you?”

Bailey blinked at him and squeezed out some tears from her eyes. “Shannon? I don't even know who she is, Artemis. Please do something about your friend. He bullied me when you weren't around.”

Both Micah and Artemis' faces twitched.

She borely finished her sentence when o screeching sound of brokes pierced through the oir from ofor.
