“Ahhhh!” the dead silence in the office was soon broken by Lane’s shout of collapse.

Both Alan and Justin took a look at each other, breathing a sigh of relief. Their tension finally eased after the seemingly unchangeable result had been announced.

From their perspective, it was so breathtaking that their heart almost stopped beating at the moment of final announcement.

With his expression mixed with madness and awkwardness, Lane suddenly wore a twisted face, “Leo, don’t ever dreaming about getting the position of chairman even after you have won the bet with dirty tricks!”

Leo smiled, “You didn’t seem to have a clear understanding about the situation. According to the bet, you are not only required to give away the group, but have one of your arms amputated.”

Hearing that, Lane was burning with evil intention of murder. He said horribly, “You are the one lack of clear understanding about the situation, I suppose. This is my territory. Do you think I am gonna stand by for your disposal?” after saying that, he clapped his hands and soon a group of tough guys rushing in to surround the three of them while pointing at their heads with pistols.

The air smelt deadly dangerous in a blink.

“Lane, stop! Never tryna do anything to the one backing me up!” Alan stepped forward to face Lane with rage.

“The one backing you up? Come on, I don’t even know you have been so humble right now.” Lane showed strong disdain within his eyes. He continued arrogantly, “You named a wimp playing dirty tricks the one backing you up?”

But when he noticed the nervous face of Alan, he let out a weird smile, “Okay, forget about it. Alan, if you do care about this pussy, why don’t you bear it for him?”

As soon as he finished, those pistols sounded loud as they were directed to Alan.

A shiver went down Alan’s spine. But soon he chilled himself again when her unborn daughter suddenly came to his mind.

He turned around to look at Leo, who still remained calm as usual. “Mr. Cohen, please leave as soon as possible. And take care of my daughter.”
