"You didn't tell your sister?" Spencer found it very unbelievable, "It's such a big deal."
"It's just a small issue, and I didn't want to worry her, so I didn't say anything," Summer settled herself, "Why did you come? It's so early."
"Isn't it normal for me to come and see you?" Spencer helped her sit up, then opened the breakfast box, while also looking at the two bunches of orchids, "We are friends and neighbors, right?" The implication was that their relationship should be better.
The girl looked at him and also saw the two bunches of orchids, saying to him, "You and Harlan seem to have quite a tacit understanding."
"So, these are from him?" His tone was light, but he was particularly upset inside.
"Yes," the girl said, "He came by yesterday."
"I brought you breakfast." Spencer didn't want to mention that guy, so he placed a bowl of white fungus congee in front of her, changing the subject, "The doctor said you can eat something now."
So, did he ask Dr. Watson?
Did he call him?
His thoughtfulness was clearly on display.
"Aren't you supposed to film this morning?" Summer said to him, "Hurry back to the set, don't delay the schedule."
"No rush," Spencer sat down in the chair, scooped some congee with a spoon and brought it to her lips, "Have breakfast first." He just wanted to stay and accompany her.
"I can do it myself." The girl took the spoon and bowl from his hands.
Spencer didn't insist, knowing she might not be used to it, he felt very satisfied just staying in this hospital room.
Sometimes you really can't ask for too much.
But looking at those two identical orchids and his heart wasn't feeling too good, especially one of them, it felt like a knife was stuck in his heart.
What did that Harlan guy mean?
