"My wife," Kevan said again.
He stared at her, and his eyes were twinkling.
Although it was not the first time he had called her wife, Larissa still blushed anyway.
She purposely looked away and put a hand over her racing heart as she retorted weakly, "We're not married yet, don't randomly call me that!"
"There's something I keep forgetting to tell you."
Kevan had a smirk on his face while his eyes were slightly narrowed. He looked like a fox.
Larissa's heart skipped a beat and she got nervous. "What?"
"Come here." Kevan called her, and his low voice was like the voice of a siren.
Larissa could not help but take two steps forward.
When she reached a range where Kevan could touch her, he reached up at once and pulled her into his arms.
Larissa screamed as she fell onto the soft bed, her back slamming against Kevan's firm chest.
Kevan hugged her tightly, and his breaths puffed against her cheek.
Larissa was already used to the way he hugged her, and she did not feel uncomfortable.
She only glared at him and grumbled, "Can't you be gentler next time?"
It sounded more coy than anything else.
"Sure." Kevan was very easy to talk to right now.
His gentleness also made Larissa think that she was dreaming.
"Did I hurt you?" He looked down at her wrist, which was red from his grip.
