"What do you mean by that?"
Larissa remembered when Kevan was still "comatose" in the hospital, Dylan had given her a divorce agreement to sign.
She had gotten drunk, and because she was also triggered by Kevan and Ruby, she did not bother reading the details of the agreement.
She simply signed her name on the last page.
"Dylan did not give you a divorce agreement, it's an agreement for asset transference. Besides, we never went to the city hall to get divorced, remember?" Kevan whispered into her ear, feeling smug about his little trick.
Larissa was shocked. It was true that she did not get divorced at the city hall before leaving Caldor.
But they had been living separately for six years, and their relationship had really been "shattered".
She always thought that Dylan had helped her sue for divorce in court.
After all, if Kevan did not divorce her, he would not be able to marry Ruby again.
Also—
"What agreement for asset transference?"
Based on Kevan's character and wealth, he would not be like Travis Hardy, who wanted to divorce her and take advantage of her at the same time.
But as assets were involved, Larissa could not help but be on alert.
"You might not know …" Kevan's forehead pressed against hers, his cold lips ghosting over hers. "You're now the biggest shareholder of Microworks Corporation, and you own 51% of Microworks' shares. If you're unhappy one day, you can kick me out any time."
This shocking news shut Larissa's brain down.
"Don't joke around about something so serious," she warned him sternly.
"I'm not joking around." Kevan carefully let go of one of her hands, but he did not move too far away from it because he was scared that she might slap him if he was not prepared. "If you don't believe me, I can show you the agreement that you signed."
"I want to see it," Larissa said.
"Wait for a moment." Kevan only bravely went to the study after seeing that Larissa had no intentions to "take revenge" on him.
All of his important documents were in the study.
