Theodore's expression was etched with concern as he continued, "Besides, the catalyst in her system is accelerating its effects. If we delay this, I'm afraid her body won't hold out for much longer. As much as I hate this plan, drawing Harvey out now may be her best chance."

Xavier clenched his fists tightly at his sides, his knuckles turning white.

"I understand. No matter what happens, I'll make sure Yvie stays safe." Even if it cost him his life, Xavier would protect her. Nothing would shake that resolve.
