Talented Martial Hero novel Chapter 632

In the ten days that Darren practiced, he was able to understand the Copying Skill and master the fist skills.

As Darren's martial arts talent was at the seventh level of the Heaven Degree, it only took him ten days to grasp the fist intent.

Adequately prepared, Darren thought that it was time for him to leave. He intended to visit the Dragon Chasing Sect.

But before that, Darren had to return to the city in case the young man's family reported his disappearance to the Dragon Chasing Sect.

Darren flew quickly, and soon, reached the city.

The soldiers on patrol in the city spotted Darren immediately.

"Go and inform the Governor that the young master has returned safely!"

The soldiers were overjoyed when they saw Darren.

When the young master's disappearance had been noticed, the soldiers had suffered tremendously. Over the past ten days, the Governor had killed hundreds of soldiers as punishment. This caused others to panic.

Soon several figures appeared where Darren stood.

"Oh, my dear son! Where have you been for the past ten days? Your mother and I were so worried," a middle-aged man said to Darren.

"A thief framed and injured me. I returned as soon as I recovered," Darren answered. As his appearance matched that of the missing young man, everyone thought that the young master had returned.

"Who is that thief? He must be insane!" The Governor's eyes widened in exasperation when he heard the explanation.

"I have already killed him. By the way, do you have any treasures at home?" Darren asked.

"Uh..." The Governor hemmed and hawed as he didn't know whether or not to answer that question.

"Don't you want to give them to me?" Darren sneered.

"Of course, I want to. But, Lewis, why do you need treasures? What do you want to do with them?"

"You have been the Governor for so many years. Don't you know why I would need the treasures?" Darren pretended to be impatient and continued, "This is my first visit to the Dragon Chasing Sect. I'm a mere nobody to them. So many senior fellow apprentices are at the sect. Do you think I will survive without some treasures? If I don't give them any benefits, I'm afraid that they will kill me!"

"Oh! I understand," the Governor patted his head and said. "Forgive my momentary confusion. My son has a thoughtful mind. Let me think about what treasures I have."

After contemplating for a while, the Governor said, "Lewis, why don't we send our box?"

Hearing this, Darren began to search the memories he had gotten from the young man's soul, but he couldn't find any reference for the box.

"What is it? If it is not precious, I'd better find something more suitable in the treasure tower myself."

As the young man named Lewis had been spoiled since he was a child, he appeared cold and arrogant at home. Furthermore, now that his strength was unparalleled in the family, he didn't pay respect to his father.

Hearing this, the Governor felt a pang of pain. 'Oh, my God! Don't take away the best things!' he thought.

As there was no response from the Governor, Darren flew toward the Governor's Office. Soon, he stopped in front of the treasure tower.

"The key." Darren demanded with an outstretched hand.

The Governor fetched the key promptly, but when Darren tried to snatch it, he refused to let go.

"Do you want to die? How can you be reluctant to give up such a superficial thing? What are you doing? If my senior fellow apprentices are not satisfied with my treasures, they will kill me. Then, it will be your turn. Do you want that? What is more important, your life or these treasures?" Darren shouted coldly.

Hearing this, the Governor broke into a cold sweat.

"Okay. Pick the best one. Lewis, you must remember to restrain yourself when you go to the Dragon Chasing Sect. Don't offend those masters, or they will kill you. Your mother and I are too old now to manage by ourselves. Don't make any trouble so that we can live the rest of our lives comfortably," the Governor said in all earnestness.

"Oh, are you afraid that I would get you into trouble? You old thing! How about we sever our father-son relationship?" Darren could remember that the young man always threatened his father in this way. To avoid exposing himself, he threatened the Governor in the same way.

"No, no. Lewis, I won't say it again. Go and pick whatever treasures you want," the Governor replied immediately.

'My son is a genius, and I want to live a happy life with him in the future. How dare I think of disowning him?' The Governor reprimanded himself.

"Humph!" Darren snorted coldly. Then he opened the treasure tower's door and walked in.

As soon as Darren entered the treasure tower, the Governor's expression changed. He turned and walked toward the outer yard.

"He is driving me crazy right now!" The Governor's face darkened. "Such an unfilial child! What did I do in my previous life to deserve this? Guards! Guards!"

"Yes, my lord." Several men in grey uniform immediately appeared. They emitted a powerful aura.

"Go and snatch some girls for me. I want to work off my anger on them."
