Taming The Casanova novel Chapter 67

Manyata's POV

(Last day when vidhi came)

Vidhi said she would be staying in Delhi for just two days as she was very busy she had to go for some meeting yesterday. I felt better as she has always been a very bold and bubbly girl and we were close.

But I felt that she was behaving differently at times. The day she came, three of us were enjoying each other's company when the doorbell rang and I went to open the door.

There was a tall, dark and handsome man standing there with some carry bags and boxes in his hand.

He was smiling earlier but as he didn't recognise me he looked confused.

" Oh !! I am here to meet Sandy... I mean Sandhya. Is she home?? "

" Of course yes, I am sorry I didn't recognise you. "

" I am her brother, Shubh. "

" Oh, I am so sorry, please come in. " I let him in and he smiled politely.

I led him to the living room where we all were sitting.

The moment bhabhi saw him her face lit up and she ran towards him to welcome him with open arms.

He was looking where to keep all the stuff he was holding, so I took them and placed on the dining table.

The man hugged bhabhi and kissed on her forehead. They both seemed very close to each other.

I thought to leave them alone, so I walked towards Vidhi but she looked absolutely stunned. She was standing there looking at him. The expressions on her face were coming and going like a movie.

She seemed somewhat shocked, surprised, happy and sad all at the same time but was looking at him continuously.

Bhabhi caught his hand and pulled her brother in as they both were still standing in the door frame.

I looked at them and the moment Shubh Ji saw Vidhi, he also stopped in the track all of a sudden. His face mirrored the same emotions as we're on Vidhi's.

There seemed to be so much tension between them.

" Shubh, this is Manyata, Vikram's cousin and you already know Vidhi. Manu, he is Shubh, my cousin. But just like you are very close to Vikram, we are also very close." She said and smiled at him and they side hugged each other.

I smiled and said, " Hello... " he just smiled back and nodded.

" Come Shubh, I was missing you already. It seems that you had telepathy. "

" Yeah... " He said but again stole a glance towards Vidhi. She was also looking at him.

They both were really awkward in presence of each other.

It was almost like when Sahil and I used to be before he got to know that I was Manyata.

Something was definitely going on.

I came to the kitchen to get tea and snacks for them. But again, the thought that Sahil had gone without talking to me, bothered me.

Shubh Ji said that he had to go but bhabhi didn't let him go. She came to the kitchen to help me and asked me to take the snacks to the living room she would get tea.

When I reached, there, I saw them arguing like a couple. Shubh Ji was holding her forearm and looked irritated,  while she seemed to be giving an explanation.

They did even look at me so I went back to the kitchen. Bhabhi was about to go there but I stopped her.

" Wait bhabhi... "

" What happened? "

" Bhabhi, is there anything between them?? "

" Why are you asking that?? "

" They were awkward in presence of each other and are arguing like... "

" A couple?? I had my doubt. But I was not sure. They have always been like this. They like each other but always fighting. I have to bring them together. I can't see my two favourite people fighting. Let's go... " she went towards the living room and I followed her.

" Shubh, see I got your favourite, Matar Kachori. " She said even before entering the living room.

" Wow! Great. " He said. They both looked tensed. The doorbell rang again and vidhi ran towards the door. May be wanted to get away from there.

It was bhai sa came and he hugged Vidhi. They have always been extremely close.
