Being looked at by Scarlett, Reilly was ashamed. If she could solve this matter, she wouldn't have hurried up t o see if Scarlett was off work yet.
"Ms. Reed, I'm sorry."
Scarlett smiled. "Why?"
"I didn't handle this matter well..."
"Then look how I handle it."
Scarlett curved her lips and said unhurriedly. She didn't blame Reilly.
Reilly was stunned and suddenly flushed.
The elevator opened with a tinkle.
Scarlett looked askance at Reilly, walking out of the elevator.
She had just left the elevator when she heard the old woman's cries.
The voice was so loud as if she was afraid that no one else could hear it. A woman with a microphone was persuading her, and Rocco was standing by her side staring at Scarlett.
Scarlett raised an eyebrow and couldn't help tutting.
She was right.
Scarlett walked up to them. "I heard that you guys want to see me."
Rocco looked at Scarlett with disbelief.
When Scarlett was at their place, she was undernourished, looking pale and thin.
Although girls changed fast while growing up, Rocco didn't expect Scarlett to become so good-looking.
They had planned to make a scene here. Kyleigh cried to attract attention, and Rocco was standing there waiting for Scarlett. Just now when Scarlett came out of the elevator, Rocco saw her.
Scarlett glanced at the hostess. "So what's the purpose of them inviting you here?"
Aurora had never seen such a calm person. She did a double-take. "They just want to see you. Kyleigh said she has a son and a daughter. Your parents had an accident ten years ago. Kyleigh lost her daughter. She wants to see you. You're her granddaughter."
Scarlett looked at Kyleigh and then at the hostess. "So they asked you here to help them see me, right?"
"Yes."
"Now that you've seen me, can you stop lingering outside my company?"
Aurora stared at the indifferent woman in front of her, trying to say something, but Scarlett didn't give her the chance. "Oh, I see. You want something else, right?"
Scarlett was looking at Kyleigh. "Say it. How much do
you want?"
She took out the check, looking at Kyleigh with a sneer.
