When Frank saw that Raymond was going to follow Scarlett, he hurriedly called out to Raymond. "Mr.
Shaw, you have a meeting this afternoon."
Raymond stared at Scarlett's back and glanced at Frank with dissatisfaction. "Do you think I don't know it?"
He didn't need Frank to remind him.
"I'll be there for the meeting this afternoon. Sort through the documents and email them to me.
Raymond said and chased after Scarlett without looking back.
It was not the first time that Raymond had taken the subway, but it had been many years, so he thought he needed small change for tickets.
Therefore, when Scarlett was buying her ticket on the machine, he reached out and tapped on the "+" button. Scarlett saw the number of tickets on the screen jump from "I" to "2".
She frowned, looking at Raymond without saying anything. She stopped paying.
Was Raymond crazy? He even wanted her to buy a three-dollar ticket for him.
Under her gaze, Raymond didn't feel ashamed at all, saying calmly, "I don't have change with me."
Hearing this, Scarlett couldn't help smiling at him.
She then settled the bill on her phone.
After taking the tickets, Scarlett said without ceremony, "Three dollars. You can pay me by PayPal."
Raymond took out his phone and transferred her three dollars. He followed Scarlett to the subway.
Most people were still working. Few of them were as idle as Raymond, who enjoyed taking the subway with her.
There was even no place to stand in the subway at peak times, but now there were many empty seats.
Scarlett deliberately picked a seat for two people. She put her bag next to her so that there was not enough room for another person.
Yet Raymond was cheeky. He picked up her bag and sat down beside her.
