Rowan heard about last night's incident. Although Scarlett disliked Jessie and was happy to see that Jessie was in trouble, Jessie was a Tank. In the years before Scarlett came back to the Tank family, Jessie had accompanied Viviana and Rowan. Therefore, Scarlett didn’t want Rowan to know what had happened. She didn't expect the butler to tell Rowan about it as soon as Rowan woke up early in the morning.
While Scarlett was eating breakfast with them, Rowan asked Larry to go to Jessie and the other of his juniors and tell them not to come over to disturb him because he wanted to stay alone.
Larry was on Scarlett's side. What Rowan said was just what he thought. Now that Rowan asked him to do that, Larry didn't mind going to Jessie's house.
Rowan then looked at Scarlett "If you are bullied, tell us. Your brother and aunt will help you."
Scarlett was touched and resigned. She smiled. "I know, Grandpa."
After breakfast, Scarlett played chess with Rowan. Larry went to Jessie's house with gifts.
Jessie's grandpa passed away long ago. The oldest member of the Tank family was Rowan. Only Jessie's parents visited them with gifts every year. It was the first time Larry had come to Jessie's house.
Jessie and her parents all felt that something was wrong.
Rafael and Priscilla looked at each other. Priscilla remembered what Timothy said about the attitude of the Tank family last night. Her heart thumped nervously.
Yet she looked calm. She got up with a smile. "Larry, aren't you busy lately? What brought you here?"
Larry nodded and gave her the gifts in his hand. "Uncle and aunt, I'm not very busy these days."
