If Chloe was really Raymond's own mother, how could she suddenly take Raymond away without telling his friends? She had caused them to worry for more than half a year.
Alexander was both happy and angry. He wanted to knock Chloe on the head and ask her if there was something wrong with her brain.
Scarlett had a business dinner at noon, and now it was almost time for her to go out. When Alexander finished reading those files, she said to Alexander, "You should have no more questions, right?"
"Not really. Since Raymond has lost his memory, won’t he come back if he can't remember everything that happened before?"
It must be said that it was a good question.
Frank also subconsciously looked at Scarlett. The person who knew Raymond’s situation the best and had the most right to speak right here was Scarlett.
Scarlett's pretty eyes flashed. "I did not ask him that question."
She paused and then continued, "How about I help you ask him next time?"
Alexander was speechless.
Seeing disappointment on Alexander's face, Scarlett smiled and stopped joking. " He should come back, but not in the short term."
Alexander instantly pulled himself together. "Anyway, it is great. It's understandable that he won't come back now. After all, he has amnesia and can't remember anything."
He said and paused. "Ray doesn't have a fiancee over there, does he?"
Frank, who had just learned of Camille's existence from Katherine, subconsciously glanced at Scarlett. "Mr. Smith, how could you suddenly have such an idea?"
"Isn't that a typical plot in romance novels?
Seeing Scarlett glanced at him with a faint smile, Frank hastily looked away and replied, "Mr. Smith, you are really imaginative. You have a gift for writing novels."
Alexander grunted. "I cannot earn a lot of money by writing novels."
He was right.
