Chapter 288 After All, They Are a Family

Beside her, Yareli glared at Giselle with hostility. Yareli was very dissatisfied in her heart.

Alexa and Damarion were like family to her. Yareli just couldn’t bear to see others bully

them.

“Ms. Niebergall is just a guest. Why are you so interested in the Duran family’s affairs?

What do Ms. Duran and Mr. Ramsey have to do with you?” Yareli sneered.

“You…”

Giselle’s face suddenly turned gloomy. She was furious.

“You are just a servant. How dare you speak to me like this!”

“Ms. Niebergall.”

Alexa still smiled, but the sense of oppression became more and more intense.

“This is the Duran’s house. You can’t be so presumptuous.”

Seeing that something was wrong, Damarion hurriedly hid in Alexa’s arms and quietly

sized up Giselle.

“Yes, this is the Duran’s house. I didn’t expect this is how you treat your guest,” Giselle

retorted.

“Ms. Niebergall, you are joking. I am just doing my job. You are a guest, and you are also

a guest invited by my brother.”

Alexa nodded slightly, looking as cold and calm as ever.

Giselle shook the wine in the glass with a cold face, and a trace of imperceptible

viciousness flashed in her eyes.

“I am the third miss of the Niebergall family. How can you talk to me like that?”

“We are not your parents. We have no obligation to spoil you,” Yareli calmly added.

Giselle was so angry that she stood up and rushed out of the door with a pale face.

Alexa just played with Damarion and did not even glance at her.

“I wonder what Mr. Duran is thinking. He actually took a fancy to this kind of woman.”

Yareli said. Alexa silently listened, not saying a word.

When Keyon returned, Damarion was eating auxiliary food.

He couldn’t care less about Giselle, who was angry next to him, and directly bent over to

pick up Damarion.

“Damarion, did you miss uncle?”

“Uncle.”

Damarion called out to him in a cute voice. Keyon immediately kissed this little fellow.

“What did Damar eat today?”

“It was made by a nutritionist. Damar has always liked it,” Alexa said gently.

“OK.” Keyon nodded with gratification, and then personally called the nutritionist to remind him, “Damar’s meals must be strictly regulated every day. You must use the freshest ingredients. No mistakes are allowed.”

Seeing this, Giselle forced out a smile.

“Keyon really cares about Damarion.”

“Damar is the child of my younger sister. Of course, I’m concerned.”

In front of Damarion, Keyon’s tone and expression were both very gentle.

Giselle’s smile was slightly stiff, and the jealousy in her heart grew deeper and deeper.

“Yes, if you have your child in the future, I’m afraid you’ll care about him a thousand times more.”

Keyon didn’t reply, and he reached out to pinch Alexa’s arm.

“Why are you only wearing these clothes on such a cold day? Why don’t you add a coat?” Keyon’s eyes were full of worries. “You’re weak. It won’t be good if you catch a cold.”

“I see.” Alexa nodded and looked at Giselle. “I forgot when I thought about talking to Ms. Niebergall.” Keyon slightly tilted his head. Only then did he notice Giselle.

“Giselle, this is my sister Alexa. You have already seen her, right?”

“Yes, I have. I had a very good chat with Alexa.”
