“Alexa, you are so shrewd.”

Nina smiled coldly and defiantly.

But Alexa looked very calm.

“Why are you so hostile to me, Ms. Ramsey?”

“Are you done with work so quickly?” she asked with a smile.

“Edwin said you’ve come to the company,” Terrence replied. “So I ended the meeting and came to you.”

Nina ignored him. She walked like she wanted to make holes in the floor with her high heels.

After she left, the atmosphere in the office was instantly better.

Terrence sat down next to Alexa. He looked like a different person now.

“Ms. Duran, what can I do for you?”

“I’m fine.”

Terrence had already put his hand on her waist and taken her into his arms.

“I just met Thalia. We passed by a bakery, so I bought some snacks for you.”

It was not the first time she had come to the company to see him, but Terrence was still very happy and kissed her.
