Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love novel Chapter 305

Jay rose from the bed and proceeded with his morning routine. And while he was washing his face and brushing his teeth, what happened yesterday flashed through his mind. He carefully recalled every detail of what took place and couldn't help but sense something unusual.

Immediately, he changed into his business suit and hurried to his office. "Hanson, get in here!" he called his bodyguard through the intercom.

Hanson was usually the first one to arrive at work, and he had never dreamed of his boss clocking in so early like today.

So as soon as he came in, he said jokingly, "Good morning, Mr. Fang!"

"Good morning. Check what happened in Dream Bar last night and see who those women are," Jay ordered right away. His right hand rested on his right hip while the other slightly rubbed his temple.

"Which women?" Because the command was so sudden, and frankly unexpected, Hanson looked utterly curious at his boss.

"Stupid!" Jay's voice thundered in the entire office. And as if his blaring tone was not enough to exhibit his anger, he jabbed his fist on the desk and added, "Those vulgar women who drank with me. I need to know if they are from the bar or not!"

"O-Oh, okay. I'll check it right now!" Not wanting to be his boss’ punching bag, Hanson stormed outside to do as told. He then directly proceeded to order some men to investigate the matter.

At the same time, the flared up Jay drew a heavy breath before calling his assistant to discuss his planned acquisition of the Dream Bar.

Meanwhile, as Jay almost wreaked havoc in the office, Doris had just woken up. The morning sunlight had begun to seep through the sheer drapes in her room.

But although it signaled the start of a brand new day, she felt utterly nervous as soon as she opened her eyes. Laura had inexplicably disappeared with the money, and there was no doubt that she had run away with it.

It might not be a big amount for Jay, but Doris knew it was a bad omen.

If Jay were to learn of her trickery, he'd never buy the bar for her.

But in whichever case, Doris had finally decided to leave him.

After all, she couldn't stand living with a man who would never be contented with just one lover. She knew Jay was bound to eventually cheat on her; that man would never change.

So clicking on the WeChat, Doris rummaged her fingers on the screen, typing aggressively like there was no tomorrow. The message read, 'Nancy, I want a divorce!'

Meanwhile, Nancy, who had just gotten out of bed, also had a rough time last night.

She and Charles couldn't find the kids in the kindergarten, so the two went to the police station to report the case.

And thanks to Charles' reputation and influence, the authorities immediately sent people to search in all places within the city.

It was even reported in the news on the TV.

At the same time, while the entire city police searched for the kids, Bobby and Nadia sat on the sofa and watched the report about them.

"Your parents are looking all over the place for you. Don't you want to contact them?" Hiram asked, intently looking at the children to better study their faces.

Nadia glanced at Bobby, who sat beside her, and muttered in a low voice, "Well, should we call Daddy and Mommy? They've been looking for us. I bet they must be very anxious right now!"

However, the poor boy kept mum and pursed his lips into a thin line.

His pair of almond-shaped black eyes were fixed on the television, intently watching the news. By the looks of it, the young man must probably be thinking about something else.

But seeing that he didn't bother to respond or even looked at his sister, Hiram had thought that Bobby must have agreed with Nadia's suggestion.

So, he suddenly stretched his arms and reached for his phone.

"Uncle Hiram, don't call Mommy and Daddy!" Before Hiram could even press his fingers on the screen, Bobby was quick enough to stop him in a cold, stern voice.

"Oh, alright. Okay, I'm sorry!" Helpless, Hiram put down his phone and heaved a deep breath. He then tapped his legs firmly as though he was showing the kids he planned to stay put.

With the three of them snuggled on the couch, they silently watched and listened to the host reporting the news about them.

At the same time, the police spent the entire evening searching for Bobby and Nadia, but they were nowhere to be found. It was not until dawn when someone, who was scouring through numerous surveillance footage, found that Bobby and Nadia were taken into an apartment building by a man.

"Who is that man?" one of the policemen asked, narrowing his eyes on the screen to get a better picture of the unidentified man.

At this moment, Nancy was leaning on Charles's shoulder in utter despair. Her face was pale—probably from skipping her meals and worrying all day-while her eyes were bloodshot.

Charles, on the other hand, was slowly being eaten up by his guilt. How could he forget to fetch the children from the kindergarten when it had been his routine for a while now?

As soon as the police found a lead on their whereabouts, Charles and Nancy immediately stood up and walked over to the computer.

"Bobby and Nadia were taken away by this man!" The policeman pointed at the monitor screen.

"Which man?" asked Charles and Nancy in unison.
