“Once he merges with the Waitara Path’s soul spirit, he would instantly gain half of the Waitara Path’s strength. If that were to happen, nobody in the Haleth Realm would stand a chance against him, not you, nor Xanthakos."

Seeing that James was indifferent, Wesley patted his shoulder and said, “I know that you have entered the Zenthur Rank, and your strength is extraordinary. In the Forty-Ninth Heaven, you can almost take on anybody. However, you are not invincible.”

James raised his eyebrows at this.

Wesley said earnestly, “Don’t be unwilling to accept the truth. You just fought with Taiyi and proved to be on par with her. However, compared with the Waitara Path…”

James asked, “Is the gap wide?”

Wesley glanced at Taiyi in the black and white gas, then explained, “Let me put it this way, if the strength of Waitara Path is ten, then the strength of you and Taiyi should be between two and three. Even if you join forces, you may not be able to deal with Goyo if he merges with the Waitara Path’s soul spirit."

James fell silent.

Wesley said solemnly, “That’s why I tried my best to persuade Taiyi to intervene. Otherwise, the Leere Tribulation won’t be solvable.”

James frowned and asked, “Does Goyo not know about it?”

Taiyi answered, “Of course, he does. That’s why he orchestrated things so that you would release the Waitara Path’s soul spirit.”

Taiyi then explained Goyo’s plan in detail.
