James and Hershya exited the library.

James had spent a lot of time on his training within that realm, especially on mastering the primitive inscriptions of all the races existing in the Dark World.

As he came out of the library and undid the time formation, James detected that several entrapochs had passed in the outside world.

Just then, the leader of Hagios Sect, Landry, materialized a few steps away from James.

“James…” Landry smiled and greeted.

He paused briefly upon seeing Hershya, who was following behind James.

Then, he said smilingly, “Elder Hershya, have you ended your meditation too?”

“Mhm.” Hershya gave a slight nod.

“Mr. Landry.” James asked, “Did anything happen while I was away in the library? Did Xayvion make any appearances during that time?”

Landry furrowed his brows. “Several incidents have happened in the Dark World during the last few entrapochs. However, I have not received any news about Xayvion’s current whereabouts or activities.”

“What happened during this period?” James asked.

Landry replied, “Someone started a secret organization and began assassinating skilled or genius cultivators belonging to the different races. They are bringing war and chaos to the Dark World.”

He continued, “The Hagios Sect has made several attempts to eradicate this evil organization. However, we have only ever been able to exterminate some of their regular members. We haven’t been able to remove any of their important members.”

A deep frown drew Landry’s brows together. “Even now, we still have no information about the appearance or background of the leader of this secret organization, the Morro Sect. Everything about this organization is still shrouded in mystery.”
