Suddenly, the sound of gnashing teeth came from behind Thea.
Thea turned around and saw Whitaker, who had been the center of attention and praise moments ago. He had clenched fists and a furious expression.
James, a nobody from Mount Martialis, upstaged his great accomplishment of a six-star rating in the second assessment. He felt nothing short of a humiliation. Initially, he thought his only competition would be Skynet’s Young Master, Truett.
Whitaker gritted his teeth and shouted tremblingly, “I can’t accept this. There must be something wrong! This trash must’ve consumed a Genesis Core…”
Irritated, Thea interrupted him, saying, “That’s your problem. Do you think everyone else is weak just because you’re a genius? If all our disciples are narrow-minded and arrogant like you, then the Timaeus Sect is doomed.”
After hearing Thea's words, Whitaker’s anger grew stronger. He raised his head and growled, “Do you have a death wish?”
Thea looked at Whitaker and replied disdainfully, “You want to fight me? Go ahead and try.”
“You…” Before Whitaker could finish his sentence, 81 flashes of lightning suddenly fell from the gray clouds above Beauregard.
Boom! Bang! Boom!
The lightning quickly struck the living beings outside of Beauregard.

How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....
