“Be careful, he’s up to something,” Taiyi warned.
“Yes, Mordecai is different from Dillon. He is very treacherous,” Emperor Tapia added softly. “He often has ways to kill gods invisibly.”
James smiled calmly and asked, “Sir Mordecai, do you want to play a game with me?”
Mordecai chuckled sinisterly. “Heaven as the chessboard, stars as the pieces. You and I will become the game itself. How about a wager?”
James raised an eyebrow. “I like gambling. What’s the stake?”
Mordecai spread out one hand, revealing a shimmering pen and a scroll radiating black and white light. “These are the treasures of the last twenty halls of Wuia Palace, as well as each of the ten halls to the east and west. Isn’t that why you’re here?”
At these words, Taiyi and Emperor Tapia quickly looked at James, their expressions tense.
“Brat, just take them since it’s confirmed that the treasures are with him,” Dillon said. Then, he transformed into a beam of light and charged at Mordecai. However, Mordecai disappeared with a flicker, causing Dillon to miss his mark.
Dillon cursed angrily, “Damn old monster, come out and fight!”
There was no response, and the main hall fell eerily silent.

Popups and ads… I don’t mind. But when the images with part of the story won’t load, then we have a problem....
How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....

James always behind in cultivation then always lost in the battle.what the heck is this story about i hate reading it.ill stop reading it now.nothing is good about the story.always failed to protect the love one's specially his wife.the story become boring when he wants to cultivate when he cultivate only at the low level.he did not attain the same level of his opponent.the story say even he mate a cultivator in the upper level he cal destroy it and when the battle begins he lose.Watafak is this.dont ready this novel...
