She glared at the man angrily.
“During the Great Battle, she used her wisdom to secure victory for the empire and defended the myriad realms, allowing you to confront formidable enemies in Zymurgy without distraction.
“Even if she has no merits, she has worked hard. Why do you treat her this way the moment you return?”
James narrowed his eyes as he saw Rebella holding Xezal tightly.
“You are indeed formidable. Even Rebella is willing to protect you with her life. Given time, would they still help you count the money if you sold the entire myriad realms?”
Rebella was stunned.
Xezal sighed lightly, “I’m not as malicious as you think!”
“Really?” James’ voice was cold. “For your plan, you’d sacrifice the entire Doom Race and even massacre all the living beings of the Genesis World. You’re not just malicious. You’re insane and utterly evil!”
Xezal slowly closed her eyes. “For the Jademora Empire and Emperor Caden, all of this was necessary. This is a blood-soaked trial.”
“Then I must thank you,” James mocked. “If I hadn’t returned, would even more living beings in the myriad realms have suffered, becoming mere pawns in your game, with billions of lives at your disposal?”

How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....

James always behind in cultivation then always lost in the battle.what the heck is this story about i hate reading it.ill stop reading it now.nothing is good about the story.always failed to protect the love one's specially his wife.the story become boring when he wants to cultivate when he cultivate only at the low level.he did not attain the same level of his opponent.the story say even he mate a cultivator in the upper level he cal destroy it and when the battle begins he lose.Watafak is this.dont ready this novel...
