At the peak of Mount One in the myriad realms, the Yang Governor, disguised as James, descended with Gladwin. Both looked deathly pale, as if they had just escaped a life-threatening disaster. They were filled with panic.
They stopped simultaneously upon arriving beneath a massive platform in a grand dojo.
“We need to sort this out first,” the Yang Governor glared fiercely at Gladwin. “Who's going to explain this later, you or me?”
Gladwin swallowed nervously. “Of course, it should be you.”
“Why should it be me?” the Yang Governor scoffed. “Haven't you always claimed to be Lord Goyo's top confidant and meddled in our alliance's affairs? Now you're chickening out when there's a major issue?”
Gladwin's face twitched. “This has nothing to do with cowardice. It's your duty as the leader of the Path Guardian Alliance.”
The Yang Governor laughed in exasperation. “You've always been the one gathering intelligence across the myriad realms, boasting that you're better than Yegor from Skynet. Now, such a huge event has occurred, and you only tell us now.”
“You want to pin this on me? I'm telling you, absolutely no way.”
With that, the Yang Governor quickly ascended the platform.
Seeing this, Gladwin became furious. “Aren't you pretending to be James? At least act the part! James wouldn't be as cowardly as you.”
They continued arguing as they climbed the platform but fell silent when they saw Lord Goyo meditating with his eyes closed on a radiant Path lotus.
“Why aren't you arguing now?” Lord Goyo asked without opening his eyes.
The Yang Governor and Gladwin exchanged glares, grumbling under their breaths.

Popups and ads… I don’t mind. But when the images with part of the story won’t load, then we have a problem....
How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....
Thea is always f@#king crying, she never listens to James and she is week as f@#k.She believes every thing her family says looking for approval....

James always behind in cultivation then always lost in the battle.what the heck is this story about i hate reading it.ill stop reading it now.nothing is good about the story.always failed to protect the love one's specially his wife.the story become boring when he wants to cultivate when he cultivate only at the low level.he did not attain the same level of his opponent.the story say even he mate a cultivator in the upper level he cal destroy it and when the battle begins he lose.Watafak is this.dont ready this novel...
