James was worried about Tiara.
When he left, Tiara was still hospitalized. Since many days had passed, he was worried about how she was coping.
Also, there was Thea.
When he left. Thea seemed a little off, and he was worried that something would happen again.
He had to return as soon as possible. Otherwise, he could not be at ease.

Maxine said, “I’ll bring you to see grandpa.”
“Alright. Let’s go.”
“Come this way.” Maxine gestured to him.
The two walked side by side to the backyard.
Maxine said, “I’ll study the cultivation method to the best of my abilities. If I crack it, I’ll come to look for you so we can try it together.”

How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....
