Willow seemed to recall that Caspian had, in fact, told her that before.
However, back then, both Zoey and her thought that Caspian was just messing with them.
She would never have imagined that someone of such prestige would be interested in her.
Could it be that Caspian was really the Diatoran God of War?
"But if he's the Diatoran God of War, why would he want to be with me?" Willow was dubious.
"It's the power of love!" Zoey said excitedly.
"If he really is the Diatoran God of War, how could he have accepted being wronged when we were getting mistreated at the Stewarts' residence?" Willow remained doubtful.
"It must be because of love. If he really isn't the Diatoran God of War, there wouldn't have been such a grand wedding procession with the military involved. Ordinary people wouldn't have been able to do that.
"Even the senior general, John Anderson, attended the wedding personally. Why would such a high-ranking officer attend a general officer's wedding ceremony?" Zoey explained.
Willow nodded unknowingly. Zoey's words were starting to make sense.
"Remember that incident at the Cliff of Death where the military unit was dispatched? Only the Diatoran God of War can mobilize so many soldiers and horses," Zoey said as she recalled another incident.
The more Zoey spoke, the more Willow was convinced that Caspian was the Diatoran God of War. Suddenly, everything that did not make sense was starting to fall into place.
"I'm going to have to stop you for a while, Zoey. I'm getting dizzy," Willow's chest rose and fell. If her husband was really the Diatoran God of War, it meant that Caspian held one of the highest positions where he was second only to the King.
"I'm so envious, Willow! I can't believe you're the wife of the Diatoran God of War!" Zoey said emotionally.
…
Meanwhile, Macy and the others were in the middle of a fierce battle.
Three armored soldiers had been shot.
"Take them into the room in case they get shot again!" Macy ordered.
The situation was not favorable to them.
All the enemies on the first floor had already been eliminated. They had to move on to the second floor to defeat the remaining enemies.
The armored soldiers heeded Macy's order and began transporting their wounded teammates into the room.
Macy covered them as they hauled the injured soldiers into the room.
Then, she sprinted up the stairs. She was going to eliminate the enemies on the second floor.
It was fortunate that Macy reacted swiftly. Otherwise, they would have died the moment they entered the villa.
It was at this time that Sylvia rushed inside the villa with a few other armored soldiers.
As soon as they entered, they heard gunshots coming from the second floor.
Sylvia immediately led the men up the stairs.
More enemies were hidden on the second floor, and Macy's gun was out of ammunition.
It was at that critical moment when Sylvia suddenly showed up.
Gunshots were accompanied by screams that came and went. Sylvia and her team opened fire immediately, defeating the enemies victoriously.
With everyone working together, all the enemies in the villa were eliminated.
Blood filled the air of the entire villa.
They counted the numbers of the enemies. There were around 70 to 80 of them.
"Thank god for your sixth sense, Macy. Otherwise, it would've been really dangerous," Sylvia said.
"That's true. So, how are you going to thank me?" Macy said smugly.
"In your dreams, Macy. We haven't even talked about how you impersonated the God of War's wife. You're really fearless, aren't you?" Sylvia chided her.
"If you hadn't given it away, you think I'd have to do the impersonation?" Macy argued, not backing down.
"We'll see how Caspian deals with you when he returns," Sylvia countered.
Then, everyone worked together to help carry the injured armored soldiers out of the villa.
In order to protect Willow, dozens of people were seriously injured.
It was at that moment when an enemy lying on the ground gathered his final strength to take a device out of his pocket. He pressed a button on it.
