When everybody had assumed the worst and was heartbroken, Willow and Zoey found Macy under a big tree.
It seemed like the impact of the explosion had propelled her far away.
"I found Macy!" Willow shouted loudly.
Sylvia and the others rushed over when they heard Willow.
They helped Macy get up from the ground.
It seemed like there were no external injuries on her. However, she had passed out.
"Macy! Macy! Are you okay? Answer me!" Sylvia shouted.
The armored soldiers were all nervous.
But no matter how everyone yelled, there was no response from Macy.
From the names they called out, Willow and Zoey confirmed that Macy was not the God of War's wife.
The armored soldiers seemed to be addressing her as Captain.
Nevertheless, everyone was more concerned about Macy's well-being. Whether she was the God of War's wife was no longer important.
With trembling hands, Sylvia held her finger up to Macy's nose. There were no signs of breathing.
"Macy! Please don't scare me! How could you die?" Sylvia burst into tears.
Even though they occasionally had differing opinions, they had a pretty good relationship with one another.
"There are no wounds on her, so how could …" Willow covered her mouth as her eyes began to water.
If it were not for her, Macy would never have died.
"Maybe she suffered internal injuries due to the impact from the explosion," an armored soldier said as he choked on his sobs.
"You can't die, Macy! Don't you want to be the God of War's wife? As long as you're fine, this position is yours!" Willow cried out.
Sylvia and the rest were shocked to hear what Willow said. Did Willow find out Caspian's real identity?
It was at this moment that Macy slowly opened her eyes.
"You're alive, Macy!" Sylvia cried out with joy.
The other armored soldiers were also overjoyed.
"What are you crying for? I'm not dead yet!" Macy said.
Everyone wiped the tears from their eyes.
Willow and Zoey let out a sigh of relief as well.
"Were you tricking us again, Macy? Were you pretending to be dead?" Sylvia asked with a serious look on her face.
"You think I have the time to pretend to be dead? I was knocked unconscious from the explosion, okay?
"How dare you accuse and disrespect the God of War's wife, Sylvia?" Macy asked irritably.
Just now, she ran all the way to the riverside and threw the bomb. But the shockwave was so strong that she was propelled into a tree where she knocked her head and fainted.
"Macy, I'm afraid you're not the real God of War's wife. I think it's our Willow who's the real God of War's wife," Zoey said.
Everyone was stunned when they heard Zoey.
"How do you know that Willow's the God of War's wife? I think that's nonsense," Macy thought that she had given it away again.
"Sylvia told us!" Zoey laughed.
"Hey, hey, don't frame me. I never said that." Sylvia kept shaking her head.
"You did! You referred to her as the God of War's wife just now," Zoey said.
Sylvia froze for a moment. She must have let her tongue slip in a moment of emergency.
Macy let out an awkward chuckle. This time, she might not be able to help Sylvia cover it up.
