Zane stepped forward and explained, "Dad, it seems that Filren had just sent out envoys. They're waiting for us at West Aridlands for a peace talk."
Jerry asked, "Are our envoys ready?"
Zane nodded and replied, "Everything is ready."
"Very well. I'll leave the peace talk to you. Remember not to anger them, and try your best to meet their demands."
"What if they make some outrageous requests? Do I have to agree to everything?"
"Just ask me if you're not sure. We can accept their requests so long as it's reasonable. Our goal is to make sure war never breaks out so that we can continue to control Diatoran."
Zane nodded and replied, "Of course!"
Jerry assigned each of his two sons to different tasks.
Zane would be leading the envoys and flying from Dhord City to West Aridlands for a peace talk with the Filrenian envoys.
Kelvin would be sent to gather fighters from Skyarch Palace to begin preparations for kidnapping Miranda to force Tom to give up the Black Moon Technique Scroll.

Meanwhile, Denzel prepared a very generous gift.
Logan made arrangements to bring Denzel and some of his bodyguards to Southlake City.
The purpose of this trip was to meet with Caspian and Sherry.
News of Diatoran sending envoys for a peace talk at West Aridlands soon reached the public, and the citizens were outraged.
They never expected that Filren would invade Diatoran again when the country was once defeated by the Diatoranian God of War.
And the most shocking news of all was that Diatoran now had essentially surrendered as they opted for a peace talk.
The peace talk hadn't officially begun, but Diatoranians had already started to march on the streets in protest.
They shouted their frustrations out in public and admonished Jerry for being an incompetent coward for opting for a peace talk.
Some citizens had even started insulting Balthazar.
They were furious at Balthazar for deposing Caspian, which resulted in Diatoran ending up in its current state.
The streets of Southlake City were filled with citizens protesting against begging for mercy from Filren.
Caspian and Willow had gone out of the house to look for gifts and were surprised by the chaos around the city.
The citizens were shouting for Jerry's resignation on the streets.
They were also calling for Caspian to be reinstated and to punish Filren for their arrogance.
Diatoranians were all fondly missing their invincible Diatoranian God of War.
Willow exclaimed, "It seems that Diatoranians hate Jerry a lot, and they're also calling for your return. Maybe His Majesty will soon reinstate you back to your post."
Caspian explained, "It's not as easy as you think. Jerry had been plotting his way up to be the king's trusted advisor for a very long time. He wouldn't let go of his power anytime soon."
"Who knows? With how loud the protests are going, maybe even Jerry would have to step down from his position as the advisor.
"Not possible. Jerry had also taken over the police when he became the advisor. I'm sure he'll send them to silence the public soon."
Willow asked, "Is he really going to go against the public's wishes?"
Caspian explained, "Not just that. He's also going to kill the loudest folk that led the protest."
"Then, we should stop the protesters now so they won't be in any danger!"
"It's not up to us. Besides, other cities around Diatoran also have protests going on."
Willow asked, "Are we just going to watch as civilians are being killed?"
