Chapter 161
Back to Rolf Titus Point of View:
The Demon continued to stare boldly as if daring him to do something or even attack him, and Titus, the Alpha king did the same, not lowering his gaze from the Demon in front of him.
The atmosphere was still very tense in the room containing the Alpha king and the Demon Asmodeus, so if anyone came they would immediately understand that a cold war was going on between the two.
A battle where the aura of power competed with each other that almost made it impossible for ordinary people to breathe if they were in the same room with them.
“Alright then, I’ll trust you now” Finally the Demon said what the Alpha king Titus wanted to hear, that he was leaving.
Thank goodness, he thought.
“But….”
Oh Sh*t!!! I knew there would be a catch.
I’m going to wander around for a bit, check things out before I leave, that’s how I’ll know if you’re lying or not” He looked at me sharply as he said that, a clear threat.
He doesn’t care who I am and dares to say that threat directly to me, damn it!
“Why do you need to go around my territory?” I asked quickly.
He tilted his head “There are things that only fellow Demons can do and feel” He said suspiciously but I understood that he seemed to think I was hiding the Demon Astaroth, but how did he check?
“Do what you want to do” I shrugged casually.
A second later the Demon Asmodeus disappeared before my eyes with a smile still on his face.
I don’t know what he will do but I have to tell the members to ignore him if they see him wandering around. I don’t want any chaos due to the boy’s actions.
Knock.. Knock…
Drake and Harry walked into my office and looked around “She’s gone?” Drake asked before walking inside and sitting next to me on the couch.
I nodded my head “Yeah, he just disappeared, so much style, the arrogant one!” I grumbled in annoyance.
Harry grabbed a drink from the cabinet with 2 glasses for him and Drake, he looked at me as if asking if I wanted one but I shook my head, I didn’t want to drink alcohol at the moment, everything was making me dizzy.
“What does he want?” Harry asked as he handed the glasses to his partner, Drake.
I sighed “Looking for Astaroth” I answered briefly.
“Is he?”
“No, I hurriedly said so that no one would overhear us.
Both pairs of eyes from Harry and Drake were wide–eyed in shock, yes, currently the Demon is still roaming this area, I don’t want there to be a possibility of him hearing our current conversation, let alone mentioning that my future daughter
or son is a mate of Astaroth.
I can’t imagine what would happen if that crazy boy heard my words.
“He’s still traveling around the region, be careful” I said quietly but I knew they could hear the warning I said even though it was very quiet.
They simultaneously nodded their heads in understanding.
Walking towards the window and looking at the beautiful scenery in front of me, why is my life never as beautiful as that scenery? I thought dejectedly.
‘You’re wrong… Wolf spoke in my head and made me raise my eyebrows.
“What do you mean?” I asked confused.
‘Having Gwen and now pooping in her womb, is the most beautiful thing that ever happened to us, don’t forget that‘ he explained and I had to close my eyes while exhaling.
That’s right, what Wolf said was very true, I must not give up hope and believe that the beautiful thing we are trying to achieve together
“I’m sorry, you’re right Wolf” I finally admitted to my wolf that what she said was true, having Gwen and the information about having pups from her was the happiest thing that ever happened to me, I can’t forget that.”
“Then what are we going to do now?” Harry asked and made me slowly turn my head towards him, I could have gone to another city by now, I thought mischievously but still acted like a woman in love.
“Keep tightening the protection on the perimeter” I ordered after a moment of silence.
“And for sure we don’t say anything to the anyone,” he added, apparently almost all the workers were naughty huns,
Count me in!
“Keep tightening the protection on the perimeter” I ordered after a moment of silence.
