Chapter 125 

“Did you not hear me say she is our Luna? That should make you understand that she is my mate,” Alpha Ansaldo corrected him, looking upset. 

There was just something about the way they mentioned each other’s names that he could not accept. 

Aiden had to give Bree the respect she deserved, and that concerned Alpha Ansaldo greatly. He only hoped their knowing each other was not something that would cause their relationship any problems. 

“I should be asking how you two know each other.” 

Aiden was a little lost to hear that Bree was his Alpha’s mate. He thought it was merely a contract since his Alpha had been searching for his mate for a long time. 

It was what most Alphas did. Signing a contract with a random woman until they found their mate. 

“Uhm.” Aiden was lost for words, greatly disappointed. 

“We met at the Shadow pack.” Bree recalled and was about to explain when someone interrupted her. 

“Is it not obvious that your beta and Luna have been at it behind your back?” It was Abilene, and Alpha Ansaldo was upset. 

It was not right for Abilene to interfere in their pack matters since she was not a pack member. He did not hesitate to point out her error. 

“Know your place, Abilene, this is a pack matter. You are just an outsider.” 

Abilene was saddened. It seemed as though Ansaldo was under Bree’s spell. That could be the only reason he did not see anything wrong with her. 

“You are just ashamed that the mate you hype so much is not as pure as you thought. She has been at it with your beta,” Abilene yelled, trying to create a scene, but since it was training time, the pack house was empty. 

At this pack, even omegas had their own training room, so there were no maids lurking about. 

“Enough!” Alpha Ansaldo thundered in his Alpha tone, giving her an ultimatum. “You shall leave this pack now.” 

Abilene was numb. After all this, Alpha Ansaldo still chose Bree and was even sending her out of the pack because of 

her. 

“It’s true what they say. Men would rather choose a whore than make it work with a good woman.” 

A slap burned Abilene’s face the moment she finished uttering those words. It was Beta Aiden who slapped her, her eyes turned red from unshed tears. 

Glaring at Beta Aiden, she questioned him. “You. Do you have any idea who I am?” 

Aiden lost respect for her. She did not deserve it since she disrespected his Luna. 

“You disrespected the Luna of the River Bed Pack. Even if you are the moon goddess, you deserve more than a slap.” 

A tear fell from Abilene’s eyes. No one ever subjected her to such torment in her life before, not even her father. 

“You can defend your girlfriend all you want. Who knows for how long you two have been at it?” 

Beta Aiden lost control, ready to teach her a lesson, but Alpha Ansaldo had a little drop of respect left for her father and said coldly. 

Chapter 125 

“Abilene, leave now or 1 will make you.” 

Abilene turned around and headed upstairs when Alpha Ansaldo called her back. “Abilene.” 

She turned around, a smile on her face as she hoped he was going to apologize, but his words were not what she expected. 

“I don’t want you going about spreading false rumors. I took Bree’s first time. She was still a virgin until we met.” 

Not exactly what she was expecting to hear, Abilene scoffed but did not utter another word. As soon as she entered her room, she closed the door harshly and locked it. 

Alpha Ansaldo took a deep breath, sat down, and pulled Bree to sit on his lap. Then he cupped her cheek lovingly in the palm of his hand and said, “please tell me everything” 

Beta Aiden, seeing the level of maturity between them, knew he had to get rid of anything he felt for Bree. He had to accept that she was now his Luna and there could be nothing between them. 

“I will wait at the gym. 

Alpha Ansaldo did not stop him, and Aiden’s absence relieved Bree. She spoke honestly without being asked. 

“I was playing truth or dare with my friends at the Shadow pack, and Beta Aiden had come to visit.
