Chapter 163 

Sheridan remembered vividly. She had told Alpha Nick that she forgave him, and when he was about to make love to her, he received a call about an attack which she had planned. 

“I thought you forgot,” Alpha Nick stared intently at her. No matter how he tried, he could never forget that prank. 

Sheridan did an amazing job. “How could I? I bought this resort for you because I figured you liked it.” 

This was the same resort Sheridan chose for them to meet at back then, and she was beginning to piece certain things together. “So that explains the disappearance of that huge sum of money,” she asked thoughtfully. 

A huge sum was transferred from their joint account, and though Sheridan wanted to question Nick about it, she always hesitated. 

“I expected you to question me about it,” Alpha Nick said honestly, not adding that it felt better that she didn’t, though he had cooked up a lie to tell her. Sheridan smiled knowingly. 

“And I was waiting for you to come to me.” 

A smirk stretched the corner of Alpha Nick’s lips. “So here we are. I would show you the transformation later, but we have to finish what we started that day.” 

Sheridan’s heart leapt with joy, and it felt as if she was falling in love all over again. “I love you so much, Nick.” 

“You might not believe it, but I love you more than you love me. I’m sorry for the times I made you feel neglected,” Nick apologized. 

For all these years, he never stopped apologizing for the wrongs he did to her and never thought he had made it up to her enough. 

The pack took a toll on him, and he devoted more time to their daughter than her, making him guiltier. 

“No, no,” Sheridan pressed her hand against his lips. “You were training our daughter, and that means a lot to me. I know that you always saw her as a little girl, and indeed, she needed our attention.” 

Alpha Nick agreed but also felt that his job was done at this point. “But she’s eighteen now, so my job is done. I have to pick up from where we started.” 

“I was thinking that you were going to wait until she found her mate,” Sheridan said thoughtfully. Alpha Nick shook his head. 

Daisy was too smart to be guided. It would be right for her to learn a few things on her own. 

“No. I wanted to do that before, but then, how would she grow? She has seen the love and sweetness but has been kept- hidden from the world. There are things she needs to learn on her own.” 

Sheridan agreed. If she had not left her pack, she wouldn’t have matured. Daisy was doing great but had no idea hate and betrayal existed. All she ever saw and experienced was love. 

Her pack members loved her, and so did her parents, uncles, aunties, cousins, and grandparents. “I agree.” 

Alpha Nick did not plan this to discuss his daughter anymore. “Then we should stop talking about her and focus on us,” his voice carried a load of seduction, making Sheridan wet in her pants. 

“I like that too,” Sheridan said in an equally seductive tone. Alpha Nick’s gaze was filled with desire. Bare–chested, he looked so attractive, and it was as if Sheridan was falling in love with him for the first time.

“And I miss you so much,” he poured a glass of red wine for her. The romantic setting got them in the mood for naughty things, and Sheridan was honest with her feelings. 

“Nick, you’ve made me so happy.” 

Nick pretended to be surprised and responded. “Really? Because I’m just starting.” 

He loosened the rope of her robe, exposing the sexy lingerie underneath. Sheridan was sipping the wine he offered her before, allowing the silky robe to fall on the bed. 

“You haven’t aged one bit, Sherry,” he took her lips gently, caressing her hair, as Sheridan intensified the kiss, her hand caressing his well–toned muscles. 

She was still holding the wine in one hand as she returned his kisses passionately. 

“You haven’t aged too, Nick, and I hope we don’t get interrupted” she shrugged. 

At that time, she was the cause of the interruption, and this time, Alpha Nick put everything in order. 

“I forgot to tell you that both our phones are off,” he revealed, taking the wine glass from her and dropping it on the wine trolley before pushing her 

gently until her back touched the bed and said, “close our eyes, Sherry.” 

Sheridan obeyed and instantly felt a soft movement on her chest. It was so ticklish but aroused her deeply, moving to her flat stomach, and back up to her neck and shoulders. 

“Ah, Nick, what are you doing?” Sheridan arched her waist, her arousal filling the room. 

Nick observed her reactions carefully. “Relax, my love,” he said in a heavy breath, moving the feather between her thighs. Sheridan was already on cloud nine.
