The Alpha's Surprised Mate (Book #1 of Silver Moon Series) novel Chapter 128

One-Hundred Twenty-Seven: Bad Weather Take 2

Seth

What the actual fuck? My head is throbbing, and I am pretty sure it is going to explode. I sit slowly up only because if I sit up too fast, my head will explode. I pull my knees to my chest and lay my head down. I cover my head with my arms trying to get my head to stop throbbing. I have no idea what happened. I know I am not hungover. I didn’t even drink last night. I ever so slowly lift my head to see where I am at. Well, I can tell you I am not at my house. I am sitting on a couch, but I don’t recognize it. I see a glass of water and some aspirin sitting on the table in front of me. I reach for both and pop two aspirin into my mouth, followed by the water. I sit back and lean my head against the back of the couch. After about half an hour, I am able to stand up. My head still hurts, but now it is tolerable. I stand up, stretch and head to the door. I open it and walk out. Fuck, it’s bright out here. I guess the storm has passed. Good, maybe now the pranks will stop. I am pretty sure Mykenzie and Kylani are planning my death. The looks of absolute death I got once they woke up were impressive. I think the thing that scares me the most is that they have said nothing and acted like everything is fine. I am starting to get paranoid. I start walking around, and I don't know where I am. Wherever it is, at least, it’s cool here. The area is beautiful. I am looking out over what seems to be a lake so blue and clear that it doesn’t look real. It is weird; I haven’t seen anybody yet. It’s like I am alone here. Wherever here is. I walk for a little longer when I start to see people. As I get closer, I can see more people. Damn, where the hell am I? Everyone here looks like a fucking model.

“Oh, look who decided to come back.” I hear someone say.

I turn to see a woman. She is beautiful, and there is something about her. Like I have seen her before. I give her a smile, and she giggles. I keep walking, and everybody is staring at me. Most of the women I see giggle at me. I even get a few whistles and catcalls from both women and men. Where in the fuck am I. I sit down on a bench outside at what looks like a cafe. Two women sit down in the other chairs at the table. I give them friendly smiles, and they stare at me in that dreamy way. I am starting to feel very uncomfortable. It is starting to feel like it did when I came with Chris to heaven. Shit, that’s when it hits me. I take a good look around.

“Oh, I am gonna murder those two,” I say, grinding my teeth.

All of a sudden, I am surrounded by both women and men. Shit, those two sent me back to heaven. I know it’s payback because of the spider incident, but come on. I’d rather have pink hair. I get up and take off, walking as fast as I can. I start feeling my pockets. Yes, I still have my cell phone. I hurriedly scroll through my contacts. I finally find Chris and press send with more force than necessary. Then it dawns on me that my cell may not work here.

“Please, please pick up the fucking phone,” I say to myself.

Chris

This prank war is getting good. My sisters can’t prank me, but a few guys and I have each other. I am still waiting for something to happen to Seth, Peter, Colin, and Zak. I know it’s coming. Those four are freaked out because my sisters are acting like nothing is wrong. I know they feel bad about the spider thing. It’s really not their fault. If I had thought about it, I would have told the new guys about it, but it never crossed my mind. All four are literally walking around on eggshells. It’s fucking hilarious. I know my sisters won’t do anything to hurt them, but whatever my sisters are planning is going to be brutal.

“Hey anyone seen Seth,” Jason asks.

Now that I think about it, I haven’t seen him since he, Dustin, Marcus, and I were sitting outside watching the storm last night. I also haven’t seen Marcus today either. My phone starts ringing, and it takes me by surprise. I take it out of my pocket and look at it. Well, speak of the devil; it’s Seth. I wonder where he is? I press the answer button.

“Please help me,” Seth screams at me.

“Where the hell are you?” I ask.

“Heaven. I woke up, and they sent me to heaven. Get here now.” He screams again.
