Georgia accompanied her to the airport and she was silent throughout the journey.
Carla glanced at her worriedly " Mom, are you okay? "
Georgia gave her a reassuring smile " Yes sweetheart, I'm okay. It's just that I'm missing you already " She laughed nervously
Carla nudged her lightly on the arm " Come on Mom, we're still seeing again, you're coming to the wedding, remember? "
Georgia nodded and smiled, but it didn't quite brightened her eyes " Yeah I will "
Carla returned her smile with a wide one and they didn't exchange much words after that until they got to the airport. Saying goodbye was harder than Carla thought as she fidgeted with her fingers when it was time to leave.

Getting over Davis was not as bad as she initially thought, Jenny mused as she dragged her grocery basket along with her. She had vowed not to give her heart to a guy after Davis or fell in love because it would only resulted into heartache. She was lost in thought and oblivious to her environment that she didn't notice someone walking briskly in her direction. Davis... She never thought it would happen someday. For her, breakup was for weak people. She thought they loved each other enough to keep the relationship going. Heck, she had even thought of getting married to him when she was ready, not knowing the dickhead was two-timing her. That... that mother fucker! She would definitely make sure he regretted...
Her thoughts were rudely cut off as she bumped into something which made her yelped in pain because she had hit her head hard.
" Ouch! " She groaned, closing her eyes automatically and took a step backward, rubbing her sore head. She had bumped into something hard... and warm. It smelled nice too, she noticed. She frowned slightly, wondering what wall smelled nice these days. Besides, a wall wouldn't be naturally warm except someone had leaned against it recently. Opening her eyes, she looked up and found herself staring into a pair of ocean blue eyes, the most beautiful ones she had ever seen.
" Holy cow! " She gasped. The guy was damn gorgeous and sure followed the trend of men's outfit. He stood out among the crowd. She saw his mouth twitched in a smirk and he shoved the hands into his pockets which made him look more elegant. He looked oddly familiar though, had she seen him somewhere before? Was he a celebrity perhaps? She frowned, trying to figure out where she had seen him when he spoke.
" Take a picture, it would last longer milady " He drawled out and positioned himself, striking a more sexy pose.
Jenny finally regained her composure and she shook her head. Yeah, he was handsome but definitely arrogant.
She forced a laugh up her throat " Oh, you thought I was drooling over you? Hell no, I was imagining what your outfit would look like on my boyfriend " She tucked her hair behind her ear, proud of herself that she had managed burst his bubbles even if she was attracted to him.
