The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 71

Angel POV.

In the days and weeks that followed since I killed uncle Gianni. Things have gone back to normal, and finally my family and the MC are at peace. It is strange to not be in constant danger or waiting for the next catastrophe to happen.

All we can do now is to look forward and finally think of the future and what it may hold for us all. I’m pushing close to five months into my pregnancy and it is amazing. The morning sickness surprisingly stopped not long after the death of uncle Gianni. We put it down to stress.

The baby is growing beautifully and today we are having a gender reveal party. We are holding it in the clubhouse. The MC will be there, my family and those we hold dear.

I struggle to get out of bed as my centre of gravity has shifted and this little one is using my damn bladder as a trampoline.

“Ryder, Ryder, baby. I need to use the bathroom.” I shake him as he sleeps like the dead. I roll my eyes and kick him, and he grunts and opens his eyes. The sleepy blues looking at me shining in the first light of the dawn.

“What’s the matter, princess?” he leans over and rubs my protruding belly. Before he rolls over, pinning me under him. His arms holding his weight from crushing me.

“Baby, I really need the bathroom.” I say and he chuckles before kissing me gently and climbing off of me. He takes my hand and helps me up. Once my feet are planted, I stand, stretching out my lower back and waddle towards the bathroom.

“Be quick, I need you in my arms,” he says as he follows behind me. I have told him numerous times he doesn’t need to accompany me to the bathroom, but he said what if I fell? What if I bump into something and hurt my belly? I just let him do it. There is no need to argue with him. I won’t tell him, but I find it cute that he has this side of him and only we get to see it.

To the world he is a mean looking gruff hulk of a biker man with long blonde hair, an imposable wall. But inside he is the most amazing fiancé and father.

I do my business with a sigh at the instant relief. Never in my life has peeing been such a damn relief than it was these days. After I have pulled up my shorts and flushed and washed my hands. I make my way back to the door. I open it and I’m lifted into his powerful arms.

“I can walk, you know.” I say with a chuckle, but he just strides with me, like I don’t weigh the same as a baby whale.

“I know you can, but I need you in my arms like all the time. I love you, princess. Now let’s sleep a little longer before the tiny tearaway wakes up.” He chuckles as he settles us both back in bed. He kisses me and I kiss him back. I snuggle down in his embrace and drift back to sleep.

Waking again to find him standing in the doorway holding a tray of breakfast foods. Rebel is beside him, holding her unicorn plushy in her hands.

“Mommy, you’re awake.” She says as she runs towards the bed. Climbing up, she climbs in under the quilt and into my arms. She kisses my cheek before she kisses my stomach. This is her ritual every morning and night. She says her little sister loves it when she kisses her and tells her stories about our family. How can I argue with that?

Ryder places the tray at the end of the bed and helps me to sit up. My belly is huge and moving around is becoming an issue. So the OBGYN is seeing me more regularly, as she is now controlling and monitoring the pregnancy. At this rate, I will be having a C-Section. I do get pain every now and then in my pelvis and groin when I walk.

A condition called SPD Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. So walking and moving is difficult. Even with the support belt to cradle my baby bump, it is still painful, but bearable.

“Here you need to eat princess, then we need to get ready for this reveal. Rebel already is convinced the baby is a girl,” he says with a chuckle as he too kisses my baby bump. He adjusts my quilt and places the tray on my lap. Rebel is eyeing my toast and I know she has had her breakfast, but still, I can’t eat it all.

“Here, you can have my toast. I won’t be able to eat it all.” I hand her the triangles and she smiles, saying thank you before she eats it and I focus on my eggs and bacon. Once I’m finished, Ryder helps me to stand so I can shower and shampoo my hair. He has bought a seat for the shower because standing too long causes pain. So he helps me wash and once I’m done, he helps me get dressed.

He even braids my hair for me. How did I get so fucking lucky with him? After I’m dressed in a white sundress and gladiator sandals. We are ready to get this show on the road. We don’t have far to go, thankfully, so I won’t be in the SUV for long.

Once we are bundled into the SUV and on the way. I begin to think about the day ahead. I’m hoping there is no drama. But I know that is such a stupid thing to think about because everything has been great since that day.

I think I’m kind of wondering when this peace will shatter. Is it wrong to think that all this is about to burst? That nothing lasts forever. I would love to live this peaceful life until I take my last breath, but something is telling me that something big is going to happen. Or maybe it is because everything has been going so well.

As we pull up to the gates of the compound that the clubhouse sits inside of. I can see the pastel pink and blue banners on the gates. I chuckle slightly as the gate opens and we drive through and up.

The closer we get, the music gets louder. The tree trunks are wrapped in pastel colours. There is a pink and blue balloon arch around the doors of the clubhouse. There are giant teddy bears wearing pink and blue bow ties.
