Outside the Alexander family villa, Channing Alexander, the head of the Alexander family, personally came out to greet Night, the legendary Dr. Miracle. 

Possessing highly advanced medical expertise and rumored capabilities of resurrecting the deceased, Night could potentially be an individual of advanced age. 

The high likelihood was that she was an elderly gentlewoman with silver hair; despite the sophisticated name, her extensive experience was unmistakable. 

Channing set aside important work to wait specifically. 

The car finally arrived, and they eagerly anticipated Night’s arrival. The car door opened, and Alina stepped out. 

Channing glanced at Alina and then inside the car before uttering a word. 

“Miss, could you kindly confirm if you are Dr. Miracle’s assistant? If there’s any deficiency in our hospitality that’s preventing Dr. Miracle from disembarking, please let us know,” Channing inquired with respect. 

In this world, few could command Channing’s respect to this extent. 

Knowing Channing misunderstood, Alina wasn’t upset and joked, “My master has something to attend to today, so she couldn’t come. She asked me to come in her place.” 

In an instant, Channing’s expression darkened. “What does Night mean by this? Is she playing games with the Alexander family?” 

“She didn’t mean that,” Alina replied. 

Realizing Night wasn’t Dr. Miracle, Channing’s expression soured. “How old are you, and are you even an adult? Do you know my father’s condition? Can you discern anything?” 

“Mr. Alexander, rest assured. I can take care of your father’s medical needs alone.” 

Channing’s stern expression mirrored his growing anger at the young lady’s audacious behavior. He straightened his posture and took a deep breath before addressing her, “This is outrageous! Do you think the Alexander family is a joke? Butler, show the guest out!” The gravity of his words hung heavily in the air as the tension escalated. 

“Wait, Mr. Alexander, let me try. If there’s no effect, you can ask me to leave later,” Alina suggested. 

Channing hesitated. He couldn’t believe this young lady. 

He called Amy, the one who contacted him, explaining the situation and asking, “Why send a young lady over? Where is Dr. Miracle?” 

Hearing that, Amy couldn’t help but feel a mix of amusement and exasperation. She decided to shed light on the situation, addressing Channing with a patient tone, “Mr. Alexander, the lady you see is Night. Despite her age, she’s quite capable. Please keep this confidential. Night has unique skills that have garnered her a reputation in certain circles, and her true identity is not something we widely share.” 

Channing gazed at Alina with a mix of disbelief and skepticism. Could this elegant young lady be the renowned doctor they were expecting?

“Mr. Alexander, may I see your father?” Alina was unconcerned about Channing’s suspicion.
