CHAPTER 43

They are about to begin eating their food when Atif's phone on Haya's pocket rings.

Haya pulled it from her jeans pocket.

Atif tries to get his phone from Haya when he sees who is calling. Nea is calling. The lady that Atif dated. They sometimes talk to each other when Nea calls him.

"Will you please give me my phone?" Atif asked Haya in a gentle manner.

But Haya just gave Atif a sharp look and still didn't hand the phone to Atif until the call ended.

Atif doesn't understand why.

"Is she angry?" Atif thought.

Then Atif's phone rings again. And it's Nea again.

This time Haya turned off the phone and put it back in her pocket.

Atif didn't insist on getting his phone again.

He just began to eat his food silently.

Then he heard Haya talk.

"Finish your food first then I will give you your phone. You are not allowed to use your phone while eating." Haya said.

"What?! I'm not a child to treat me like that." Atif said with a frown in his face.

Haya noticed it so she said.

"Will you agree or not? If not I will give back your phone now but don't come back here anymore." Haya said.

“But I agree right? So I am allowed to come here anytime I want." Atif said.

Haya didn't answer, instead she just raised her eyebrows and frowned.

Atif just laughs softly when he sees Haya's reaction. As if he wins over Haya in the game.

Haya notices how clever Atif is and a very patient person. She cannot win over him. She succeeds in annoying him but he shows great patience towards her. So Haya gave up. She knew that she couldn't stop Atif from coming here.

Because of that Haya decided to slowly reveal to him that she is Haya. Even Though she is too afraid that Atif will question her why she left him before.

Haya begins saying these words to Atif for him to recognize her. Unknowingly, Atif already knew that she is Haya.

“Sir Haris raised you well. You are far from the little boy that I left for his care a long time ago." Haya said.

When Atif heard these words he knew that Haya wanted to reveal herself to him. She wanted to tell him who she really was.

But Atif pretended that he didn't get what she meant to say.

He is afraid that Haya will leave him just like what she did before. He is afraid that Haya won't talk to him again.

Because a long time ago Haya already cut their communication. Their friendship ended a long time ago. He is afraid that if he recognizes what Haya wants to reveal to him they will go back to that old situation.
