Kieran was stunned by the words.
Beside him, Jarrett couldn't help but say, "Mr. Sutton, could it be... that we've got Ms. Dawson wrong?"
Kieran clenched his fists. Whether it was a misunderstanding or not, how Freya treated him just now had ticked him off. "Go ask Kara what's going on!"
"Yes, Mr. Sutton," replied Jarrett, who quickly led the team upstairs.
Kieran rubbed his temples, looking weary.
Meanwhile, having witnessed the exchange between Freya and Kieran, Luna was dumbfounded. "Reya, I've known you for so long, and I think that was the coolest you've ever been! Before, Kieran treated you like a doormat, and it was infuriating to watch! But now, it seems you've finally seen the light!"
Freya smiled. "Yeah, seen the light."
After all, how could she not have, after everything that had happened?
Just then, Freya's phone rang. Seeing Johanna calling, she almost hung up. But after a moment's thought, Freya decided to answer.
On the line, Johanna's voice oozed sweetness, "Reya! Are you at the Sutton Mansion? Is Mr. Sutton there?"
Freya answered, "I'm at school."
Johanna sounded displeased by her answer. "You're practically the Sutton family's future lady! What are you doing at school? You can be so clueless sometimes!"
