But for the sake of her son, Johanna still put her signature on that contract.
Holding the contract in her hand, Freya smiled contentedly.
Johanna said, “Reya, look. I’ve signed the contract. I wouldn’t lie to you. Please rescue Leland from Mr. Sutton’s clutches. If anything were to happen to him, what would I do?”
Anxiety was all over Johanna’s face. She was eager to doll up Leland, with only half a day left until the birthday bash at Majestic Manor Hotel.
After all, securing a match with a wealthy heiress could solve all their financial worries for the rest of their lives.
Freya said, “Okay, I’ll head to the Sutton Group and speak with Mr. Sutton.”
Rising to her feet, Johanna finally let out a sigh of relief.
Freya added, “Johanna, transfer the money quickly. We have a contract, after all.”
Hearing Freya’s words made Johanna wince internally. She cursed, ‘That darn brat!’
After dealing with Johanna's issue, Freya left the Dawson residence. Once in her car, she debated whether to head to the Sutton Mansion or the Sutton Group.
After a moment of thought, she dialed Jarrett’s number.
