Meanwhile, inside the Sutton family, Audrey slammed her hand on the table as she stood up. "Ridiculous! Who permitted you to do such a thing?"
She could hardly believe Kieran had called a press conference, announcing his separation from Freya.
Kieran was on his knees in the living room, silent.
Standing nearby, Jarrett attempted to explain, "Mrs. Sutton, about this matter..."
"Shut up!" Audrey's response was icy. "I assigned you to watch Kieran. Look what happened! You let him run wild! And you didn’t even tell me such a significant decision. Do you even consider me your grandmother anymore?"
"Grandma, I never liked Freya, and she wanted out. I just gave her what she asked for," Kieran replied, his tone detached.
Audrey was so furious that she nearly passed out.
Jarrett quickly stepped in to support her, "Mrs. Sutton, please calm down..."
A moment later, Audrey regained her composure. She asked, "Where is Freya now?"
"Ms. Dawson... she should be at the university."
"The university?" Audrey was stunned that Freya would go to Summit University amidst such turmoil! After such a scandal, was Freya seeking to become the laughingstock of their circles by attending Summit University?
Audrey ordered, "Bring Freya back here immediately!"
Upon hearing this, Kieran looked up and said, "Grandma, the engagement is over. There's no need to bring her back."
The sound coming from the speakerphone filled the car.
The principal said nervously with a chuckle, "Secretary Jarrett, we've heard the news about Mr. Sutton and Ms. Dawson's separation. Ms. Dawson has taken a leave of absence and now lacks the credits. Do you think we should discuss the possibility of her dropping out?"
The principal was probing to see if Kieran wanted to see Freya forced out of the university.
Jarrett glanced at Kieran's reflection, noting his lack of reaction, and said, "Mr. Sutton and Ms. Dawson have separated. As for the university's decision, please follow the regular procedures and ensure it doesn't seem like a vendetta."
"Sure, that's only right. It's just that Ms. Dawson missed her afternoon classes today, claiming she had gone to the hospital, but..."
"To the hospital? What hospital?" Kieran immediately seized upon this detail, his voice cutting sharply through the air and catching the principal off guard.
