"I just hope Kieran doesn't recognize me. That's all."
And it wasn't just Kieran. It was everyone else in Echo City, too. As the executive of W Group, she couldn't possibly be known as the heiress of the Dawson family.
"Don't worry. Kieran won't recognize you," Ronan said, clapping his hands.
The stylist had brought the evening gown Ronan had meticulously picked for Freya.
Blinding in its brilliance, Freya gasped at seeing the gown. "Isn't this a bit too grand?"
The gown was all in diamonds, not large but numerous, sparkling like stars. The white, strapless, floor-length design screamed seduction and nobility.
And to top it off, Ronan had even prepared a fox fur stole for her. This outfit would make her outshine movie stars.
"I want you to be the most beautiful woman in Echo City. That way, no one will mistake Susan for Freya. At most, they'll only think you look somewhat alike," Ronan said with a smile. "But this dress does come at a cost—two million. I believe Ms. Dawson can afford it."
Freya nearly gritted her teeth as she said, "You indeed know how to do business!"
"Thank you," Ronan replied, his smile widening. "I've also prepared a surprise for you tonight related to this dress."
"What surprise?"
"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?" Ronan said. "But trust me. You'll love it."
As night fell, Eloise and Kieran stepped out of the same car.
