The Bride Who Said No: Escaping the Shadows of Yesterday novel Chapter 407

"Yes, Miss."

Alison quickly had someone go upstairs and gather all of Leland and Johanna's belongings, carelessly tossing them into a trash bin.

When everything was accounted for, Freya had it all dumped right in front of Leland.

Watching his clothes, shoes, and books being thrown out, Leland's expression turned from disbelief to utter disgust.

"Keep an eye on him. From now on, Leland and the Dawsons have nothing to do with each other. If Leland shows up at the Dawson doorstep causing trouble, call the police immediately."

"Yes, Miss."

To prevent any further disturbances, Freya had even arranged for a security detail.

Then Leland, snapping out of his shock, started frantically pounding on the Dawson's iron gate, yelling at Freya, "Freya! I'm your brother! You can't do this to me! Let me in, Freya! I'm the rightful heir to the Dawson estate!"

Freya couldn't be bothered to waste her breath on Leland, simply turning her back and heading into the Dawson residence.

Seeing the house free of Johanna and her son's presence, Freya finally allowed herself a moment of satisfaction, smiling contentedly.

"Miss, what's our next move?"

"All of Johanna's assets have been transferred to the company's accounts, covering any gaps. I believe our projects with the Dawson partners can proceed without issues for now."

As long as Kieran doesn't stir up trouble, Freya thought to herself.

But after today's humiliation, she doubted Kieran would bother her again.

That was for the best.

Meanwhile, at the Sutton residence.
